1) His Tourettes aren't severe, he rarely twitches and his stuttering is partly caused by anxiety. The only reason people think his Tourettes are severe is due to the fact the unstable environment sets them off.
2) As much as he adores Lyra, he is beginning to envy her due to the amount of times he's bled out or been given broken arms. The pain doesn't bother him it's the thought of betrayal. He didn't see how killing their abusive father hurt her that much.
3) He doesn't care about anyone or anything, he doesn't like waffles that much and he will kill anyone who describes him as a waffle lover. He prefers people fearing him not treating him like some kid in a bakery.
