I woke up early ... Today is my engagement with aliyah... I went downstairs for breakfast. Mom was preparing for the engagement
"U already woke up... Good " mom said
"Mom,aliyah" I asked
"Don't worry,we r making preparations.... I'll go at her place in a few min" mom said and kissed my forehead. Hussain came and hugged me
I went in my room and phoned aliyah.
"Hello" I said
"Hey" she replied
"U ok nah?" I asked
"Hmm" she said
"U" she asked
"If u r ok,I am ok" I said
"U had breakfast?" I asked
"Yeah" she replied
"Good....so,r u ready for today?" I asked
"Yes" she replied
"Hmm,shehry I guess your mom is here, I'll talk to u later" she said
"Ok,bye I love you" I said
"Hmm,love u too" she replied and hung up.
ALIYAH POV
Just when I finished breakfast,shehry called me.. I was talking to him when his mom came.. I hung up... His mom gave me a pink dress.
"U wear this today" she said and kissed my forehead
I took the dress. She told me that she's going as she has to do preparation
I went in my room and put the dress on my bed.
I looked at myself in the mirror.
What I am doing,is it right? My mom just passed away yesterday and today am getting engaged! A tear rolled down my cheek. No I've to do it for mom! That was mom last wish.... I'll definitely fulfill it! I wiped my tears and stood up... I've to do it!
Soon it was time for me to get ready. The girls helped me to get ready. I wore the dress and my hijab. I did light makeup. I was ready..
"Mashallah! U r looking extremely beautiful" sarah said
"Thank u" I replied with a smile.
Am missing mom... She should have been with me right now. A tear dropped.
"Hey no,don't cry" shahana said and aisha wiped my tear. I hugged the three of them.
SHEHRYAAR POV
Dad came in my room and gave me a white shirt,black coat and black pants...
"Get ready for the engagement" dad said and I nodded
I wore my clothes and did my hair as usual.
Hussain and maha came. I hugged both of them...
Mom called and told me that aliyah is here. I walk out of the room... There weren't many people and I like it like that. I didn't want many people in my engagement.
Waqas and atif came... They hugged me... There were two chairs ... I sat on one... Soon I saw aliyah. My heart skipped a beat when I saw her. She was looking extremely beautiful. I smiled at her and she smiled back.
She came and sat next to me....
"You r looking very gorgeous " I said
"Thanks,and u too u r looking very handsome " she said
