He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds.- Psalm 147:3
When people you thought were your friends start ganging up on you. They won't talk to you. You see them huddling together and giggling. You haven't done anything. Nothing is different, but all of a sudden you're out and their in. It hurts doesn't it?
How do you handle this? You might start ugly rumors about your old friends. Better idea: instead of getting down on yourself or them, talk to God about what's going on. He cares about your feelings and your loneliness. He will heal your broken heart. He will surround you with His love. He will give you new friends or restore the old ones. So tell Him how you're feeling. He cares.
PRAYER TIME
Dear Father, thank you for caring. It really hurts when my friends are mean to me. Please help them to come back to me or help me find new friends. Amen.
Remember
* it is better to have one true friend than all the acquaintances in the world.
* always trust God with all your problems, He will mend your broken heart.
* time does not heal all wounds God does.
