Australia x Reader

"WOAH! THAT SHARK IS HUGE!" you yelled out.

"(Y/n), you're yelling again." your boyfriend, Jett, pointed out.

"Oops! Sorry!" you responded sheepishly.

Earlier, Australia brought you to an aquarium for a date. So far, almost every time you saw a fish or shark, you yelled about how big or tiny it was. Each time, Jett would laugh before telling you that you were once again getting way too excited.

But you needed to make sure the fish could hear your compliments and how thrilled you were. The shark exhibit caught your eye, but something else closer to it was even more intriguing.

That was the Touch Pool.

There were several actually. The aquatic animals that you could touch were rays, sharks, flatfish, starfish, carbs, and several more.

"Come on, Jett! We have to go to the Touch Tank!"

"There's so many exhibits, but we have to go the Touch Pool first? One of the parts that is far away from everything else. That first?"

"Yes! Absolutely!"

"Alrighty then."

When you arrived, you noticed that there were only kids and teens petting the aquatic animals, but that didn't make you less enthusiastic. You tugged on Australia's sleeve. "Let's go to the ray tank!" you said, a lot quieter than before.

You slightly bent over the glass, trying your best to pet at least one ray. Jett stood behind you, a smile on his face. A ray finally didn't avoid you, and you squeaked in excitement.

Australia joined you and started to talk about rays and how amazing they were. Every Touch Pool you went to, you would pet the fish and Jett would talk about the animals.

You were so interested in what he was saying that you unconsciously wiped your hand on your shirt, leaving some small water stains. That didn't bother you since you just wanted to hear him talk now.

It was extremely adorable how passionate he was talking about animals. You could almost see little hearts appearing around him when he started to say how adorable they were.

This continued as you two finally started to explore the aquarium. As he continued to ramble he said "...but none of them are as cute as you!" That made you blush.

You pecked his cheek. "Aww, thank you!" you said happily. About an hour and a half later, the two of you left with two shark plushies and some other items from the gift shop.
