— "daddy, please tell me a story before bed," the young boy pleaded, staring up at his father with pleading eyes.

"no, go to sleep i'm tired," the tall man replied ruffling the kids hair and tucking the boy further into the blanket.

"please, i wanna know how you and mommy met," the child played with his fingers nervously.

the man's eyes widened for a second, getting choked up in surprise.

"um," the navy haired man began, rubbing harshly on his scraped knees, "okay fine, then i'm going to sleep."
