"Knock knock~?" Sorn sing-song as she twist the silver knob of the door.

"Oh! Sorn-unnie! You're here, already?" Out came a girl with brown hair, wearing a red hoodie. Her brows are creased so I thought she might be annoyed or something, but my eyes automatically went to her cute pouty lips, and we're about the same height, I think.

"Oh, Ugi-ah! Yup, I'm here. Your new roomie arrived earlier than I thought so..." Sorn looks sleepy, still, but she noticed my apologetic look and immediately waves her hands in dismissal, "I mean, it's a good thing that you're early. I like punctual people, so thank you for coming in earlier than our meeting time."

"A-Ah.. It's nothing. Thank you for welcoming me. I didn't expect you ushering me up to here, that's why I'm really grateful."

"If you have any concerns or problems regarding your dorm or dorm mates, just tell me, okay? My dorm is just down the hall. If they make you uncomfortable, don't hesitate to tell me and I'll beat them up for you."

I laughed at Sorn's parting remarks and Ugi's loud "Yah!", before Ugi lets me in.

"So what's unnie's name?" Ugi asks as she leads me to the living room.

"Me? I'm Cho Miyeon."

Ugi hums in response. She seems intimidating with that look on her face, but maybe it's because we only just met. Despite what I'm feeling, she seems friendly and kind enough.

"Hi.."

The four other girls stopped whatever they're doing and stood up to return my greeting, when Ugi and I reached the living room. I could tell that they think I'm weird for dressing up like this. Stupid hip-hop, stupid me.

They're all so pretty, yet scary for me. How come I'm afraid of everyone? Maybe this is the trauma because of what happened to me in my former university.

Ahmm.. Did I mention that it's awkward in here? Like a lot. Gosh, I hope the tiles under my feet would open up and swallow me whole right now.

"Hi.. can I ask what's your name?" The shortest one of them spoke for the rest.

"I'm Cho Miyeon."

"I heard that you're a Senior too? We're the same age so I hope we can be friends." Another one said, a smiling girl with really long legs and could pass off as a model waves at me. "I'm Minnie."

"Ah.. I see. Nice to meet you."

"I'm Soyeon." Said the shortest girl. "And this is Soojin, and that's Shuhua."

The Soojin girl waves timidly which I found really cute, while Shuhua slightly bows her head at me and continues to eat her food. Wow. She's so white. Her skin, I'm quite jealous.

"I'm sorry but we'll be late for our classes so we have to go. We'll be back later, and hopefully we could get to know you more." Soyeon, again, spoke for the rest, while the others wave their hands goodbye.

"Yah! Shuhua-ya, hurry up!" Ugi yells at Shuhua who immediately grabs her things, and the rest of her food.

I heard the door close after them, and suddenly the dorm became quiet. I'm alone with my luggage at this strange new place, and I forgot to ask where my room is. Great.

The rest of the day I spent unpacking after I found a room with two bunk beds and one of the top beds unoccupied. There's actually another room, smaller than this, with a single bunk bed. While inspecting the slightly messy, smaller room, I saw a picture of that really white girl, Shuhua in one of the cabinets. She looks young here, yet still looks beautiful even without make-up. Moving along, I came across one bathroom, and a small, but pretty decent kitchen. The dorm is quite simple overall, but I like it. A change of environment for me.

I tried to finish unpacking as soon as I can, stopping only to eat lunch, and some bathroom breaks in between, and by the time I was done, it was already four o'clock, but the girls aren't here yet so I decided to take a shower and try out my bed. Turns out, it was pretty cozy that I didn't notice I fall asleep.

Maybe it's the unpacking, or maybe it's the ride to here that exhausted me, but by the time I woke up, it was already ten. All my roommates, which turned out to be Soyeon, Minnie, and Ugi were already sleeping. Crap! I was supposed to eat dinner with them, that was my plan, at least. Ughhh.. I'm so horrible. A great way to start new friendships, Miyeon.

I quietly went to the kitchen to hopefully find some snacks, I haven't had dinner yet, so I'm starving, but I spotted the shy Soojin at the living room seriously working on some paper works.

I think it's best not to disturb her, we're not yet close after all.

I tried to remain as silent as possible but she still notices me, and there goes her timid smile.

"Ahh.. Unnie, there is pizza at the fridge. We saved it just for you. We knew that you'd be hungry by the time you woke up."

I'm feeling so embarrassed right now as she caught me at a mid-step and I almost stumble when she spoke, but the warm feeling of their concerns overwhelms it.

"A-Ah, thank you. You-You didn't have to."

"It's okay, unnie. Don't mind it."

I took the pizza from the fridge and sat at the floor, in front of Soojin.

"Aren't you gonna sleep yet?"

"I was just actually finishing up, but I'll wait for unnie to finish your food."

"Ah-Ah.. Okay. Thanks."

We sat in silence after that, minding our own business.

And true to her words, Soojin waited for me to finish eating, and then we both went to our respective rooms. She's Shuhua's roommate, I see.
