17 - Rooftop

Mark barged the door opened, he looked around finding Y/n, still panting from running all the way to the rooftop

He heard some faint sobs and decided to follow where the sounds came from
He saw a girl, sitting at a bench near the edge of the rooftop, with tears flowing from her eyes

There she is, she slowly turned her head to mark's direction, facing the boy, "what are you doing here?" she said quietly, "Y/n" mark said running towards the girl, hugging her, the girl can't help but to burst out in tears, remembering the harsh words they said to her, mark stokes the back of the girl, to comfort her

"M-mark"y/n's voice cracked from crying, mark hummed in response, making the girl continued, "A-Are you going t-to leave me too?"Y/n said looking straight at him in the eyes, Mark looked back at her, still holding y/n in his arms, "I will never do that y/n, never" mark said hugging the fragile girl tighter, not wanting to let go

He heard a faint chuckle on the girl making him confused, "you know, that I was about to do it, that's why you came, right?"y/n said, "I don't want to lose you" mark said, making the girl's lips curved into a smile, too bad he didn't see,

"Y/n, can you....promise me one thing?"
"What is it?" she mumbled
"Can you promise me to never hurt yourself again and to never take your life..." he paused looking at her seriously
"Life is such a great give from God, it's too precious that you shouldn't waste it, okay?"

"I promise...I'm glad you're here...." she said looking at him as if she was looking right at his soul

They keep staring at each other for like 3 minutes, they didn't even notice how close they are now

Until they heard someone barged in the rooftop, startling the two, the two let go from the hug, looking away, flustered, the two looked at the direction where the loud sound came from to see,minjae running towards them

"MARK!! Y/N"minjae yelled, "what's wrong?"y/n asked worriedly "Wait-why are you guys looked so red, Wait for a minute-am I interrupting something?"minjae asked teasingly

"Yes" "No" y/n looked at mark in disbelief but he just gave me a wink-well he tried, "what is it?" mark asked "I found someone who can help us, "minjae said "who?"y/n asked "you'll know later, I told him to meet us later, um is your apartment available?"minjae asked

"Yeah,"y/n said "it's all settle then, we're going to meet up in your apartment, don't worry y/n, he's someone we can trust," she said "okay, so what are we going to do now?" mark asked, "Ummm what about let's just skip school"minjae suggested "no, we're going to class, "y/n said strictly while the siblings just whine

"Stop it, we just skipped math class for coming up here, let's go I don't want to late "y/n said walking away

"Yah!wait for us!"minjae said catching up
