there were times in which
i knew not of
myths
of magic and of
soul

so to gaze outside
the window
and see pinpricks of moonlight
dusting the skies
then knowing you were there
watching the same sights

gave me comfort
it gave me hope

effervescent wings
of butterflies
incessantly pound against
my insides
fluttering and flying
as if the world were ending
and they vied to lift me up
to cloud nine

where i could be safe
with you by my side

there are times i imagine
your delicate hands
smoothing my palms
and your rosy lips
pressing against mine
in fervor

as venus lights up and
grants us a holy luminescence
i embrace you
and so we are one
coalesced into a constellation
of two lovers
of two souls

lost in the starshine
but never to be separated

 - for my fairy.
