"Fuck this damn job" I mumbled while I clocked out and grabbed my stuff to leave. Somebody needed to new job me because I was sick of Bojangles and their shit at this point
"I heard that it was Benji that killed Lorenz cause of some bout his girlfriend" Aisha, one of my coworkers said to the other group of girls he was with
"But he let tre run free for killing his cousin? I can't"
I rolled my eyes while walking through them
"Y'all obviously don't know shit so keep y'all mouth off them"
Aisha looked at me and laughed "oh, I forgot them yo people. Him and that girl still together ain it?"
"That don't concern you" I told her before walking off , leaving out of bojangles. I looked around for my ride until I spotted it at the back of the parking lot. When I got in the car Meechie looked at me
"You out early, ain it"
"Fuck that damn job" I muttered while closing the door and he left.
"Where you goin?"
"To Kay. I gotta do her hair. I was supposed to do it the other day"
"Oh you bout to be at Benji crib. Y'all be careful over they"
"Why? They still on his ass?"
"Hell yeah. Especially now that Lorenz dead too.. they swear that nigga did it and Kayla people got the cops on his ass now"
"But I mean technically Benji didn't, as far as he told me"
"He didn't. And if karma ask all you know is he ain do it. Don't tell her he was there. You know karma ain used to shit like this and Benji don't want her to crack under no pressure cause the police was questioning her ass too"
"Questioning her bout what tho?"
"To see if her story match up with Benji alibi"
"What she told them?"
Meechie chuckled before looking at me "she told them mufuckas she would've brought them the condom they used that night as proof but too bad they ain use one"
I bursted out laughing "I know she ain say that Forreal"
"Yeah she did. She been round you and Lani too long now. That girl was wildin"
"Oh shit.... I know her daddy would make her ass go home ASAP if he had control over her still"
