The Marriage | T. Shoto

Small talks

(name) was now walking next to Todoroki, both walking in complete silence "is it close by?" hoping to get a response as she has been trying to start a conversation ever since they exited the schools gate "mhm" taking a glance at her as she continued to stare straight- trying her best to not make an eye contact

Their parents thought it would be a great idea for her to start living under the same roof as him, for them to get to know each other better- and she didn't bother to complain because she knows its no use in attempting to change her parents mind.

She was lost in her thoughts that she didn't even notice the boy walking beside her- trying to give her the ice cream he was holding "don't like the flavour?" coming to a halt as she finally noticed the ice cream, it wasn't her favourite but she knew the flavour was good- she actually doesn't have a favourite so whatever tastes good then she won't hesitate to eat it

As she slowly took the ice cream she then raised her head to look at him "what's it for?" she asked, licking the tip as she wonders where he got it from, for she was sure he wasn't holding one moments ago "you glared at me earlier, so I thought you were mad"

(name) then recalled when Yaoyorozu told him he was awesome during the showing of the charts, she didn't exactly know why she didn't like it for it was the truth- the boy standing next to her was awesome, handsome, powerful, smart, and his cold demeanour somehow adding on the list

She then sighed licking the ice cream once again and resumed to walk "I'm sorry about that" though she was known to have a playful attitude and for always having a smirk on her face which she got from her brother, she couldn't deny the fact that she could be really soft sometimes "It's no worries"

She really couldn't believe that she was talking to her future husband- which she hasn't spoken a  proper conversation with till now.

Both of them stopped walking as they stood in front of Todoroki's house. They were welcomed by Fuyumi- Shoto's sister who opened the entrance door wearing her smile "Dinner's ready both of you! hurry and come in" and so they did

Taking off her school shoes as she scanned the place in amusement "We should eat" looking at the boy as she nodded and started trailing behind him, both of them entered and sat down- "Go ahead and eat! I don't want you guys all hungry for tomorrow's internship" Fuyumi said as she sat down across the both teens

They ate in silence both not bothering to even mutter a single word "This might be shocking to you both, but both of you gotta get to know each other- you guys are gonna be spending lots of years after all"she then stood up "You will sleep in Shoto's room!"

(name) and Shoto sat at the edge of the bed in silence "We could force them to not do this" Todoroki started as he continued to stare at his bare foot "Nothing can really change my parents mind" (name) then stood up, picking up a pillow and placing it on the middle of the bed

As the lights turned off they were now in each side of the bed both staring at the ceiling, once again not knowing what to talk about, as the girl turned her head to the side- now staring at the side profile of the boy, he was a beautiful art and she didn't deny that

"As much as I want to marry someone who I actually love- I myself already know that it won't ever happen" both their eyes met as the boy looked at her, staring into her deep (eye colour) eyes which was surprisingly bright "I had to learn on how to be a proper wife in such young age" Shoto's eyes widen hearing this

"My family tradition means the world to my parents- and I guess that includes me and my brother as well. I wasn't that shock after hearing about this arranged marriage for part of me saw it coming" she stopped, placing her hand on top of his which was resting on the pillow that prevented them to get closer

"We may not know each other a lot but I can assure you that ill be the best wife for you and- and the best mom for our child if you want one" Blush was now appearing on both her cheeks as she thanked the darkness for not making it visible to the boy

"Do you want kids?" the sudden question caught her off guard "Yes I do want kids" after hearing a "mhm" from the boy she then continued

"I don't want both of us to hate this marriage- instead I want us to happily marry each other someday. I want to know you for I will be spending many years with you, I may currently not love you but if you love me- just know that I won't hesitate to love you back, Todoroki" closing her eyes as she sat up, Shoto missing the warmth her hands gave as he stared at her

Taking her messy bun off which she wears everyday and combed it with her fingers, she then took off her bra which she struggled to do so as she flopped back to the bed- inhaling the boys scent the blanket provided

"I want a happy marriage too, so I'd like to know you better as well..

..Goodnight (name)

and do call me Shoto from now on"
