Backstory: Sam had a hard life before the apocalypse. He shifted from foster home to foster home, never knowing his place. At age 8 he took his dog and just...left. Sam would sit under highways, drink from public parks, and was just completely adjusted to the nomad/homeless life at age 9. That's when the apocalypse struck but he wasn't scared. Sam saw people dying, and he just didn't care. He watched as people would get eaten, and it never bothered him. Sam hated the world, and he felt this was some day of redemption. He left and he traveled until he was 13, when he found a group that held out open arms and made him feel special. He joined the group, and when he heard their techniques, their rules, he felt right at home. He worked his way to the top and stayed there, loving his new home. He is part of Harper now.

His dog has stuck by him ever since he was thirteen. He found it in a little patch of grass on the verge of death from multiple things skin issues, dehydration, and hunger. Sam took the baby dog and raised it.
He loves to control people: he is in charge of the initiations and punishments as well as sorting the 'good' from the 'bad'.
Sam had homicidal tendencies which was why he shifted from house to house. He would cut up bugs, stomp on lizards, and he would attack little animals that he could. Sam's brain was mature in a way; that he knew what was going on and that his life was flipped upside down and wouldn't get better. He was subconsciously filling the void with death.
Sam is super anti-gay along with the rest of Harper. He is actually really in love with some of the older guys, but he acts straight. He is often really flirtatious with a lot of women and sometimes he means it.
‼️If I roleplay with Sam let me warn you: there will be slight misogyny, homophobia, and even slight racism (they don't use that fucking terrible word. I would never rp that.) I wanted to warn you about that because this is What's going to happen in my season 5. I never want to trigger someone by accident, so here it is. He, as well as the rest of Harper, believe in God's DNA where women are inferior and people of a different race are not treated equally (but it's subtle) I'm tired of having nice characters too; I want someone bad, someone cynical. I want something fresh.‼️ So here he is.
