Me remembering I titled this My Ship Opinions, not My MHA Ship Opinions and also, I just watched Avatar the Last Airbender and you bet I have ships.
Starting off with the one and only, Zutara.
You bet I fell hard for it. If I were to make a tier list for ATLA ships, this one would be S tier, it is one of my otps for this.
Now, I don't have a problem with either Kataang or Maiko. Kataang is fine and Maiko is pretty cute. Zutara just really appealed to me.
Now, why is that? Their dynamic, I loved it. I saw someone describe it where they kind of ended up as the two tired parental figures of the group and yes. The significant moments they had were also great imo, and worked well for both shipping and platonic purposes. But like, come on, that moment where Azula the bitch decided to attack Katara with the lightning and Zuko jumps in front of her, agh, my heart.
That being said, I would never do something like signing the petition to make it canon in the live action. While they do have their significant moments, it still didn't receive enough development to have been satisfying if it had become canon. But that's just me.
