"wait...we shouldn't" jessica said
"what...you leaned in first" ashley said pulling away
"i know because i really want to but i'm not the kinda of person to...cheat....kind of....have a....boyfriend" Jessica said
"get out" ashley said
"what" jessica asked shockingly
"i said get out" ashley basically screamed
Jessica did as Ashley told her and soon and she stepped out of the car Ashley drove off so fast she barely had time to close the door.
She walked back to her car and thought about what just happened. As soon as jessica got home she just sat on her bed, and mentally beat herself up for doing what she did.
the following week on graduation day they saw each other but didn't speak no matter how much jessica tried. She realized mid-graduation that she would need to talk to Ashley soon before she and Ashley parted ways.
After graduation their was this party and she knew Ashley would be there. When she arrived she saw Ashley by the pool. She walked over to try and talk to her when she realized Ashley was already talking with someone. She walked away deciding she already hurt her enough.
She turned and ran into her now ex-boyfriend.
"Jessica...what are youuuuu doing here" Max said.
"Having...fun" Jessica said confused
"nahhhhh...you're here cause youuuu wantttt me backkkkk" he said
"no max you're just drunk" jessica said walking away from him.
when she tried he grabbed her arm and pulled her back to him.
"Let me go max...seriously it hurts" Jessica said trying to break from his gasp but it only made him grab her harder.
"Heyyy...let her go" someone said
She knew that voice...she loved that voice.
"no..back off dyke" he said to Ashley
Ashley hated that word. She got so mad she punch him which caused him to let go of Jessica and cover his bloody nose.
"FUCKING BITCH" Max screamed
"Maybe next time you'll stay away....from her" Ashley said
He walked away from both girls cursing Ashley out.
"ohh my goddd that hurt" Ashley said shaking her hand
"Are you okayy??" Jessica asked
"Yeah just sore....who was that" Ashley said
"My ex-boyfriend...he thought the only reason I was here was because I wanted him back" Jessica said looking at Ashley's now red hand.
"why are you here??" Ashley asked
"To party?" Jessica said
"seriously Jess" Ashley said
"noooo....came to see you" jessica said quietly
"ohhhh" was all Ashley said
silence fell between both girls
"you want some ice?" Jessica asked
"Nah i'll be fine...what did you wanna see me for??" Ashley asked
"Cause i missed my friend" Jessica said
"we should talk...wanna head to my house?" Ashley asked
"yeah...let's take my car" Jessica said
the whole car ride was silence but the radio playing quietly. Ashley reached for Jessica's hand and Jessica happily took it.
