This isn't a poem, but I thought I'd include it

To the person reading this, to the person that will keep scrolling past this:

Please, please know that you're so, very, very important.  This world would not be the same without you. You are good. You're a good, beautiful person. You're not doing anything wrong, even if that's what people have told you or even if you spend your days telling yourself how bad a person you are. You're amazing. I see that you're trying, I see that you're hurting, I see that you're trying to take it day by day. Guess what? I'm incredibly proud of you. I'm proud of you because even if you have tears in your eyes at this very moment, even if you're contemplating taking your own life, even if you're wishing that the next time you fall asleep you never wake up, you're existing in this very moment. You're existing and breathing and blinking and holy frick if that's not the most amazing thing ever, then I don't know what is. Thank you for existing. Thank you for existing at the same time as me. Thank you for waking up even on the days you wish you hadn't, thank you for failing the first time you might've attempted, thank you for being you and inexplicably you. You're so very special, it's crazy to know that you might think otherwise. You're beautiful through and through. Doesn't matter your gender or sexuality. You matter. You're important. You're special. And if no one has told you today, you're so very loved. If not by anyone else, then by me. I love you. I appreciate you. I'm happy you're here. If you feel as though nobody cares or is listening to you, then please, take this moment to type out what you're thinking and feeling. If you read through this whole thing, well done. I love you so much. ❤️
