I had woken up in the middle of the night, due to the pain the struck in my knee. 'Ah not again.' I thought.

Flashback
~Sendai stadium, Japan~
I looked in the stand to see my father cheering for me. Looking back at that moment, time had slowed down as my eyes shifted towards the ball. My teammate had sent the ball to my position as I readied myself foward lunging my body upwards, sending my arms up into swinging position ready to spike.

The ball landed smoothly on the other side, as the crowd erupted with cheers. Upon landing on the floor an excruciating pain traveled through my leg sending me into an electric shock. I felt my vision get darker, second by second as I felt the world quickly slip away from me.

"Y/n!" Was the last thing I heard before blacking out completely

What had felt like forever my eyes began to open, looking around in this unknown place. The bright white lights and the constant beeping of the machines near by made me have a head ache causing me to wake up in pain.

I pushed myself up with my hands as I sat up, the immediate pain from my leg came back. I cried out as nurses rushed into my room, pushing me to lay back down.

After a while I gain consciousness. I could hear the quiet whispers of what I made out to be my family and teammates.

"Y/n!" I heard as I felt the step get closer to my bed. "Are you okay?" I could only nod as I looked into the saddened eyes of the players.

"We have good new and bad news." I started blankly at them as they all look away, avoiding eye contact. " your team won, which is the good part but the doctor said that the fracture was so bad you won't be able to play again for a while." I heard my mother explain, my eyes widened in shock, I felt the tears well up in my eyes threatening to fall.

"I'm so sorry Y/n!" A younger player yelled out. "I'm the reason your in this bed, and the reason you can't play anymore, I should have waited and not jumped, I'm so sorry." She continues to apologize as I finally let the tears fall.

In the end i never blamed her and I always tried my best to help out as the captain I promised to send them to nationals even if I was a manager, and I did.

End flashback~

I spent the rest of the night curled up in a ball having trouble falling back asleep.

The morning came by quick as I felt my self fall onto the floor. I groaned and got ready into my uniform.

I made my lunch and headed out to school.

I got my schedule and began looking around.
'Ahh how do I find this class' I thought as I looked around. Unbeknownst to me another figure was walking right my way. As I was about to look up the figure had bumbed into me making me stumble back a bit.

"I'm sorry are you okay?" His voice was deep but a hint of concern lingered in it. "Oh y-yes I'm alright sorry, I'm just lost." I chuckled awkwardly. "Let me help then." He smiled at me which made me blush. I told him my class which was surprisingly the same class as him.

"My names Daichi Sawamura, but Daichi is fine." He smiled at me. 'Man he's cu-' I mentally facepalmed. "o-oh I'm (y/n) (L/n)." His eyes then widened. "Woah your that really famous ace from Tokyo." He pointed out which kinda embarrassed me as students started to stare. "A-Ah yes, please quiet down a little."

I was never really fond of all the attention but I didn't really mind. He apologized and we continued to class.

Prior to walking in the teacher had stepped out and asked me to wait in the hall. "We have a new student please come in." He motioned me in, I walked in and immediately people started to whisper.

The teacher then asked me to introduce myself . "Hello my name is (Y/n) (L/n) I'm transferring from Tokyo, I hope we can all get along." I bowed and was asked to sit in the back.

Lunch time had rolled around, as the bell rang many students bombarded me with questions. 'Are you really that ace?' Or 'why did you stop playing' I wasn't really able to answer them all, but thanks to your savior. "Hey I think that enough she's new let her be" I looked passed the new faces to Daichi.

They scrambled away, I sighed and thanked him. "why don't you join me since you have no friends." I scrunched my  face. "I do have friends." I pouted, he chuckled and waited for me to follow him.

we walked out side towards what seemed like the gym.

'Why the gym' I thought. As we got closer I heard the familiar soles squeak against the wooden floor. 'Ahh what nostalgia'

Upon entering I saw a few boys jumping and running around a net that split them apart.

Daichi yelled out, which got the attention of all the boys.

"This is-" just as he was about to finish, I saw a familiar orange-haired boy yell out.                "(L/n)-san!" He jumped up as he ran our direction.

"Hinata what did I say about running off while I- oh hello again (L/n)-san" kageyama bowed at me all I could do was blink in surprise at the sudden outburst.

Daichi rubbed his temple trying to clam down the orange-haired male.

"Guys this is (Y/n) (L/n) she just transferred her today." I simply bowed as a few of them began to introduce themselves.

Just as everyone finished up eating and began playing, a voice called out apologizing for being late. I turned around and locked eyes with the said person.

"Asahi?"
"(Y/n)-Chan?"
