Arabella POV

My mom told me that Ashton looks for me. So much for being hide for five years huh?

I been hiding for this past five years since I want a fresh start and I want to concentrate on my studies. I took out medical education and finished it. Right now I am one of the doctors of our very own hospital but I still persuade studying since I wanted to be a surgeon just like my mom.

It's been one week since I last saw Ashton after that night I help my mom rescued him. He had a major accident which almost lose his life. Good thing my mom is a good surgeon she able to save him at the right time.

I ran my rounds in the hospital, I am currently in the pathway walking towards the next wards to check out my patients. But as I about to turn around my body bump into something rather someone. I almost lose my footing and I close my eyes as I expect to land my body in the ground but a pair of arms pull me off and supportive me back to stand.

I look to my savior and about to say thank you but I got shock instead. I immediately entangled myself to him and walked out without bothering to say thank you. But he grab my wrist making me stop .

"Hey how are you?" He said while he look at me intensely

"Thank you for saving me back there. I need to go!" Then I pull off my hand to him but he didn't let me go.

"Ara let's talk please?" He plead to me.

"Go back to your room Ashton" I hissed still trying to pull off my hands to him but he still keep it.

"Talk to me please... Look at me" he command but I keep swatting his hands.

"Daniel go to your room. We will talk when you get better ok? I promise!" I said to him.

"Promise???" He said while he stared at me.

"Promise! Then can you go now. I think you remove your IV in no time" I said to him. Thank God this time he let go of my hands.

"Can you come with me? I think I lose my energy" he said .

"I will call nurse for you. You wait!" and about to dial my phone but he took it in my hand.

"No! Please can you come instead? They just keep flirting to me." He whine

"Ashton I don't know about that. Sorry for our nurses acted then but I can't come with you I am not your doctor" I explained to him

"But you own this hospital, you need to take care of me" he exclaimed

"Fine let's go to your room" then he put his arms on my shoulder. I let him since he need to lend on me for support. How did he manage to go down here in his state?

The nurse look at us shocked when they saw us together.

"Doc we're sorry we didn't notice. We are very sorry" they plead.

"That's enough, please get ready his IV. We need to put it again, I will not tell my mom about this. But please be careful next time?" I reprimand them they nodded and head my command.

I took him to his room and help him lay down. I look around and I saw no guardian.

"Where are your guardians?" I asked him while I insert the needle in his veins. Slowly I put his IV again.

"Did replace me for time since I can't work for now. Mom went home to get few things for me!" He said.

"Do not remove it again Ashton, my mom will get mad if she knows it!" I told him

"Oh! Do you have food? I'm so hungry! Please help me?" He said while he scratched the back of his neck.

"You can eat by yourself!" I protest

"Please... I am super hungry. Please" he plead

"Fine" then just in time a food deliver in his room.

I feed him and he eat all the food. No leftovers

"Get rest and I will go now. I need to resume my work now" then I went ahead

"Hey we will talk when I discharge right?" He clarify

"Yes go to sleep!" I said then I close his door.

I inhale as I exited his door. I know it's not right to talk to him again but I want to put things to an end.

I went to the wards where my patients and examine them. I finished all my work exactly three in the afternoon.

As I lean my head on my seat someone knock on my door and I tilt my head to look. "Come in"

My mom grace my room with her white clothes too just like me. Dad and my brothers said like mother like daughter we are because we have the same field of interest.

"Mom" I get up and kiss my mom on the cheeks.

"Sweetie your dad wants us home early. Are you done?" She asked me while she sat on the opposite chair.

"Yes! Just done all my work mom! I am relaxing a bit" I said to her.

"I heard what happen earlier". She told me.

"Yes?" I look up to her to meet her eyes.

"I know it's your life honey! But do you think it's ok to meet him?" She asked me.

"Mom, I can't hide forever. I need to put it an end. I need to forgive him so can fully move on!" I explained to her.

"I know honey, I trust you so much. Anyway that boy keeps bothering me, he wants to know about you!" She said laughing. I look at her and I raised my eyebrows in confusion.

"Why so?" I asked confused

"I don't know but it's up to you sweetie. Whatever decision you will make it's up to you. You grown to be beautiful and wonderful woman and I am proud of that. But I also want you to have time for yourself. After that happened, you closed your door to anyone who try to approach you especially boys. " She said to me.

"Not again mom! I don't want to be in relationship that's why. And I am so fucos in my work and I don't have time to go to dates" I explained while I twirl myself in my seat.

Love 💕 is something I don't want for now. I think it's better to be alone and forever single since I am loving it. No commitments, no dates, and no heart breaks.
