I'd just got off the plane, Mycroft sent me to America for the past three months. Once again, there was his signature style pick up waiting for me - a long black car with darkened windows and a posh driver.

I opened the door and sat down, putting my bags on the space next to me. Mycroft's men had eventually learned that I didn't want them to take my things for me, and I could actually open doors by myself.

"Nice to see you, Miss Holmes." The driver commented.

"You too, Martin, it's good to be back." I replied.

"Maxwell." He corrected.

"Yeah, um, that."

I dragged my bags up to the door of my brother's flat. I heard a ping and checked my phone.

You will be staying with Sherlock for a while, sister dearest. I do hope thats satisfactory with you. -MH

I knocked on the door and decided to reply to my brother.

Of course, Mike. I do enjoy staying with the brother who isn't posh once in a while, it's more relaxing that way. -JAH

I smirked to myself, knowing he would be scowling at my message in some fancy office in a few seconds.

The door opened and a woman let me in.

"Hi. I'm Jasmine Holmes."

"Oh! Come in dear. I wasn't expecting Sherlock for another hour but you can come sit in my flat if you like."

"I'd like that, thank you."

She had led me to a kitchen with a table and two chairs. It was tidy and warm, unlike either of my brothers houses. After 2 cups of tea and some biscuits I pulled out my phone, as Mrs Hudson - as I'd established - went to the shop for groceries in preparation of my brother moving in. I text Mycroft saying,

Talk to me, I'm bored. -JAH

In less than ten seconds, I got a response.

Why should I? Sherlock is with you, converse with him. -MH

I sighed at how childish he was acting.

He isn't here yet. I've spent a dreadfully long hour talking to his landlady, I don't think I can cope with any more stories about the past. -JAH

Then,

Not my problem. Enjoy it, think of it as a History lesson. -MH

And,

I hated History at school... -JAH

I looked at the clock on the wall: 14:49. Sherlock was due in 11 minutes.

Mrs Hudson was now going about the flats tidying up.

Did you tell Sherlock that I was coming? -JAH

No. My little moving in present. -MH

There was a knock at the door and Mrs Hudson swiftly got up.

"That'll be him!" She concluded excitedly.

I nodded and followed her back out into the hall. She opened the door and hugged him.

I boredly shuffled into view. "Sherlock." I nodded my head in greeting.

"Jasmine? Why are you here?"

"Apparently I am Mycroft's moving in gift."

"You were in America."

"Yes, brother dear, past tense."
