Day in day out
you dragged those stones
from the sloping canyon below
to the steep hills above
It was back breaking work for you
your body as strong as steel
and your soul even stronger
Your work recognized by all
why did it end like it did?
It seemed a happy future was in reach
Something you believed in
Somebody you believed in
Yet
It ended like it did.
