You spin tales of how white light wraps you in its coruscating embrace,
Showing you shades of colors brighter than a thousand rainbows.
You tell me how you met divinities that offered you the Midas Touch,
Not a curse but a blessing that blots out the moon and its stars to create incandescent sunshine.
It was a world that never faded,
Where not even the shadows of darkness could find a way through.
But you were never someone who saw the hidden beauty in constellations,
Weaving their lost stories together,
And you ignored the nightfall, with all of its ethereal apparitions that beg to be seen clearly.
You didn't look deep into my eyes that were flecked with pain,
Only keeping me as a wilted rose pressed between the pages of a book that lays forgotten on its shelf.
I am surrounded with fragmented kaleidoscopes and the twilight,
That would only deter your dreams from its splendor.
And I look up to the dreamcatchers above my bed in envy,
Wondering how you coexist with colors that were never meant for you.
Yet a part of me still hopes that you will see the outcasts among the hues of gray and black,
With my silhouette lurking within their corners.
