So I've had this headcanon for a while now.
Basically, Elly used to have a huge crush on Sam, and would flirt with her CONSTANTLY. And Sam obviously turned her down because she just wasn't interested.
And after basically a year of trying and failing to charm Sam, Elly gets really frustrated and decides "you know what, fine. You don't want me? You don't deserve me. I'll make your life hell because nobody makes me mad and gets away with it."
After that, Elly spreads rumors and gives Sam her "Psychopath" nickname. And that's why Elly, Jane and Faith seem to hate Sam so much.
