AJ pov

"So how are you feeling AJ," Rarity asked me as we placed a picnic blanket on the grass

"Ah'm pretty nervous, I can't believe Ah'm going to do this" I admitted feeling myself getting nervous again

"Darling, you'll be fine just try to stay calm it will all work out," Rarity said arranging the food onto the blanket

"She might not feel the same way and ah don't want our friendship to be ruined just cos ah have feelings for her," I said helping Rarity with the picnic

"You'll just have to go for it, you never know she might feel the same way too," she said

"Ah really hope so but ah need you to do something for me," I asked Rarity

"of course, what is it," Rarity said looking up at me confused

"when ah confess to Dash and I say 'the weather looks nice' I need you to think of an excuse to leave," I said explaining the plan to her

RD pov

I checked the time on my phone and noticed it was getting late, I had been at practice all day and was pretty tired but I couldn't bail on AJ

I went to the bathroom and took a quick shower and got dressed in jeans and a long-sleeved baggy top

I then dried off my hair and started brushing it, a few minutes later I was done and grabbed my phone, keys and tied a jumper around me in case it got cold and headed out of the house.

I arrived at the park a couple of minutes later, I was exhausted from all the running earlier but I forced myself to keep going.

I saw AJ sitting on the grass and she waved at me, I smiled and waved back walking over to her

"where are the others," I asked AJ looking around as there was only me, AJ and Rarity.

"Oh, they couldn't make it" AJ responded looking at me

"OK, so did you want to talk about something, I know you were pretty upset with me yesterday," I said hoping she wouldn't shout at me

But she didn't she looked at me with a calm expression and just smiled at me

"Dash, I'm not mad at you, I shouldn't have pressured you to come and I'm sorry," AJ said looking bad

"So we're cool then," I said smiling at her

"Of course we are Dash," she said smiling back at me

I then started sitting on the picnic blanket and then I got a bit nervous as I saw all the food and AJ handed me a sandwich

"Thanks," I said grabbing the sandwich from her hand and nervously eyeing it

"Rarity, the weather sure is nice isn't it," AJ said I then took that opportunity to hide the sandwich in my pocket without either of them noticing

"Oh yes darling, it definitely is, speaking of the weather I really need to get going," Rarity said walking off

That was really confusing as Rarity suddenly had to leave but it was probably nothing

But the weirdest thing happened next, AJ kept glancing at me and not saying anything which made it so awkward

AJ pov

This was it now was the perfect opportunity to tell Dash how I feel but it was so awkward and I didn't know how to start

"I can't take it anymore," I said looking at Dash who was looking at me confused

"Did I do something wrong' she asked worry and confusion on her face

"No you didn't, it's me ok" I admitted

"I totally get if you are, I mean the way I treated you wasn't right-" she said rambling on

"Dash, stop it, it's not your fault," I said interrupting her

She still looked at me confused

"Dash, I have something to tell you," I said feeling really nervous and felt butterflies in my stomach

"Ok," she said concern in her voice

I grabbed her hand and looked into her magenta eyes

"AJ, what are you-" she tried to say but I cut her off again

"Dash, I love you" I admitted smiling at her

She looked confused still and stared at me

"Let me prove it," I said and I kissed her...

Hey guys I finally did part one of the confession and I'll probably do the other part maybe later on or tomorrow

That was so hard to write so I hope the chapter wasn't too boring for you guys
