The scent of your abuse still lingers on my skin,
The feeling of your wandering hand engraved on my mind.
The Chevy look in your eyes still eating me up alive,
My right to consent snatched away, when you stripped me off my clothes.
Your fingerprints etched into my skin from the forceful way you grabbed me,
I can still feel your heavy hands around my neck.
Your heavy body crushing my delicate one, rendering me immobile,
I struggled against your grasp, desperately begging you to stop,
Your loud voice still rings in my ear, like an alarm going off.⁩
I cried my lungs out for help but no god was there for me.
Tears in my eyes but yet no words could escape, I laid on the floor motionless.
Each moment engraved in my mind, haunts me like a ghost every moment I close my eyes,
Now I feel nowhere is safe, frightened by the smallest things.
Those haunting memories still make me numb, like a never-ending nightmare.
Every day I wake up bathing in my own sweat, only to realize it is all over.
The  memory of that day would never be erased, not as a sign of weakness but a sign of my strength.
I know I have to live with these haunting memories, yet it's not my sin, this pain made me strong with the passing day.
My right to live can never be snatched away from me anymore , I'll fight for justice.
I refuse to stay a victim, I am a survivor!!
