HEARTBREAK

I can't wish to turn back the hand of time,
Today I feel like a stranger to someone that I've known for a long time.
I have no idea what is happening,
My heart wishes for something but life gives me something else.
I am being treated as a stranger by someone I gave my all to.
Take me back to days when everything was smooth.
I wish I had a time machine to reverse it all away,
I'd bring back the good old days,
The days of love, care, compassion, and passion.
You slashed my heart, now it bleeds pain that you caused.
I've run out for tears, I no longer feel the pain you bring.
My world revolved around you, and how you made me feel.
I was with you in your happy and unhappy times,
But you left when I needed you the most.
You were the best thing that had ever happened to me,
Yet all over again, we are strangers to each other,
Two people destroyed by heartbreak.
