BLADE'S POV
I'm stupid , I'm a stupid guy with a stupid mouth ,saying stupid things . No actually I'm a stupid guy with a stupid mouth ,that says stupid things and gets kicked in the shins by a small girl . I'm also a guy who is in a room he doesn't know , in a house he has never seen . I'm also the guy who's mom is gonna sandal for getting drunk .
" I'm also the guy who rejected his mate for no good reason . Opened my mouth and words came out . I didn't even care that he has a child . But noo I'm mouth and I don't wanna listen to brain and heart . Stupid mouth . "
"In case you forgot , you can talk to me as well when you are done talking to yourself . Why did you really do it , Blade ? . You have been waiting for him not even I was that excited what happened.? " Dagger my cat asks
" I panicked ,Dagger . I never thought I would share a mate with my brother . I think they are better suited for each other . I'm just in the way ."
" shut the fuck up Blade you deserve happiness , don't let your insecurities rule your life . Next time you even think that way I will punch you from the inside out . And fucken take me out sometimes would you I enjoy prancing about on my own paws thank you very much ."
" Ok Ok stop swearing . You know I don't like it . But you got your point across . Now to find my mates and apologize to them " I walk out the door towards the voices and the smell of warm coco butter and vanilla.
"Next time I will use your own mouth to swear ." He says and then keeps quiet . As I move closer i hear the conversation.
" She trained with me . Elves around the world live in tribes , they have hunters, warriors and leaders . I once tried being a hunter after years of being a warrior. Turns out I can't leave Aria with people she doesn't really like for a week . Found her pulling a warriors hair . So I stuck to being a warrior from then on . She showed an interest in fighting , she would always try fighting the other children just for fun , so I let her practice with us to prevent her from trying to play fit with a completely clueless child. She is good,her height gives her access to peoples shins . "
I hurt that little girl by being selfish and not thinking, my rejection obviously hurt Don .
" wow , sounds like you guys had really great adventures ."
" we sure did I'm thankful I found her I'm afraid I wouldn't have found my way back home without her ."
" Why do you say so? "
" I could have lost myself , living without my mates for so long , she kept me grounded."
He left for us .
" why didn't you tell us ?"
" you were so young , I was 17 going on 18 and you had just turned 12 . I had to tell someone though , so my parents knew"
He suppressed his need for his mates for our comfort and I threw it right in his face . I'm an awful person , Aria probably hates me . We all know if the child hates you , you don't stand a chance .
I slide down the wall next to the door I heard the voices coming from. I feel the tears go down my cheeks as I realise what I did .
" shh. Blade it's going to be alright ." I feel Don pick me up as I sob .
" I didn't mean , I'm sorry I didn't mean it Donny . I didn't mean it . I take it back . I take it back . " I start mumbling .
" Take this Blade . " I hear Blake say. I look at him and he smiles at me and nods his head at the potion . I take it and I feel sleepy .
" Sorry Blakie " I whisper before falling asleep .

I wake up to being warm , wrapped in muscles . surrounded by the smell of vanilla and coco butter . I love it , but I gots to pee. I open my eyes to see a big arm draped across my body ,ugh did Rowan hit the gym or something. I move it only to feel two small arms around my waist , don't tell me Blake had a nightmare again . I manage to get off the bed and run to the bathroom which was in the bedroom luckily . when I decide to go down stairs . I hear voices and I decide to follow them . I enter the room to find uncle Draco and a little girl.
"Hey Blade , how are you feeling ?" uncle Draco asks .
"I'm ok and you ?. and who is this cutie ?"I ask looking at the cute young girl .
" um Blade you know her , she is Don's daughter. " uncle Draco says
" Don's back ? ." cause wow this is news to me .
" Grandma , 'lade blue an black " the girl say cutely as she eats apple slices .
" what do you mean he is blue and black .?"
"she sees auras , a person only has one coloured aura , someone is using Blade and their aura is stuck to him . The meeting of his mate must have forced the being to leave but not before it did as much damage as it thought it was doing . " Don says from the door .
" I met my mate ?, but we just got home from school yesterday where could I have possibly met my mate . " I say in complete confusion .
"Blade you finished school last year "
" What ? no ways "
" you rejected your mate ?"
Dagger is this true , they should have known it wasn't me obviously I wouldn't just wake up one morning changed .
that's the thing Blade , you didn't change one day you changed gradually through the year . I was locked up , I also thought it was you , yesterday was the first time you acknowledged me in a year. Your emotions were all over the place and you wanted to take control of the situation but I'm afraid that if we don't remove what they left in you , you will go mad .
" Dagger says he was locked away and yesterday was the first time I acknowledged him . he also says that the person left something in me and if it is not removed I will go mad .I may be wrong but , the last person I talked to yesterday or whatever day ,was miss Chang . She said something about a boy who lived . That's all I remember . " I say opening my eyes , only to notice that my parents were also there .
" we won't need Mr Vandal this time I'm strangling this one myself" My mom says , my dad looks so angry , I've never seen him this angry .
" I'm so sorry ,I didn't notice Blade "Blake says hugging me .
" It's not your fault Blake , why do you smell like vanilla ?" I say hugging him back. he just shrugs
" I sowwi , I kicked shins . " little miss cutie says.
" you kicked me on the shins ? ".she nods
"ok I forgive you , how about a hug ?" she runs into my arms . she then licks my hand and then Blake's
" Aria what are you doing ?" Don asks .
" Smell like cookies " she mumbles looking at us curiously .
" No licking my mates please " Don says ,
" Wait what ?! nah actually it makes sense " I say looking at Blake , who giggles and wiggles his eyebrows .
