How do you deal with anxiety?

Uma: I have no anxiety.

Audrey: That's... Well, I was going to say that's a lie, but I don't think I've ever seen you nervous before.

Mal: It's a lie. She totally freaked out when the horse and the donkey started chasing her on two separate occasions on our first farm trip.

Uma: That's nervousness, not anxiety. Anxiety is like chronic nervousness, or semi-chronic.

Audrey: You mean stone-cold fear. You were scared to death of the horse.

Uma: Whatever.

Evie: Well, if that's the definition of anxiety, I'm surprised I don't have it, given Mal, Jay, and Carlos's crazy ways.

Jane: Yeah... That really is surprising.

Audrey: But I deal with anxiety, at least with school stuff, by making checklists and trying to keep my weekends as school-free as possible. Like I leave school to the weekdays and try my best to forget those worries on the weekend.

Evie: That's really good. For me, I probably handle anxiety by taking breaks in the middle of the day from different things that are stressing me out. Like ten to fifteen minute breaks about five times per day where you just totally leave the situation if possible.

Mal: Yeah. I kind of do something similar. But I usually spend time doing something relaxing like drawing. It really gets my mind off of stuff.

Jane: I like that. For me, I have anxiety about the smallest things. Even just sitting next to someone I don't know is nerve-wracking for me. So I usually mentally talk myself through the situation.

Uma: Those are all pretty good. But y'know, there's always the really good option that always works.

Audrey: What's that?

Uma: Just be awesome like me, and you don't have to worry about anything.

Audrey: Definitely don't take that piece of advice...

Uma: Welp, it's your loss.
