Part 20_Flow

Lydias pov

I sat there filling out a report of the fight to the king to say we had killed a pack

And that I was worried that there may be kids and weak pack members still at there pack home

I was getting to the part were I had just doged him and was pinning him before he got out of my hold again when a knock sounded at my office door

Knock

Knock

Knock

Knock

"who is it?"

I yell at the door

I take a sniff

Mate

I should have known by the silent reply

"Come in Colt!"

He comes in and he has a massive smile on his face, the kind that would put a smile on the faces of others that see it

"what are you so happy about?"

He scribbled on his paper

***you need to come with me. I have got a surprise for you. ***

He comes round to my desk and gently grabs my wrist and pulls me out of the room

I laughed as I spoke

" I'm coming, I'm coming, what's the rush"

He drags we out side and starts walking into the woods

"were are we going?"

He writes on his note pad

***if I tell you it would not be a surprise. ***

"I hate surprises" I mumble trying to keep a smile off my face

He seemed to notice at laughed at me

"okay okay I like surprises just not waiting for them"

He laughs again and continued to walk through the forest area

I recognised this part of the forest

Around a couple of miles ahead was a small pond, I suspected that is were he was taking me

I kept on trying to hide my excitement

He led me to the pond like I had expected but except there was a blanket layed out with a basket

There were fairy lights in the trees around the pond, althoth you carnt see the lights well since it was day but it was still beutiful

It was nice he put the effort in

I turnt to face him and he was smiling down at me

"who helped you with this, there is no way you could of done this all your self, you barely even know the land well"

Then it hit me the wind stopped and I smelt Lisa, Cole and John

"Lisa, Cole, John. You can come out of hiding I can smell you!"

They jump out of a couple of trees

"how could you smell us, you have such good senses Alpha" Lisa excamed
