Tragedy changes a person. It often leaves its tracks behind, both mentally and physically in some cases. Now when I say physically it can be a scar or an injury but it can also be seen in expression, gestures, and features of a person.
Like a wince when someone yells, or a distant look at the mention of a name, even constant apologies for personal passions.
A visible trace of heartbreak written in human gesture and expression.
