Henry drove fast, but still carefully. At one point my boss sighed and explained:
"I know you must be finding my concern for him a little strange ..."
I turned my gaze to Henry, restraining myself not to agree with his observation. I let him continue:
"I don't want you to think I like him any other way, of course not ..."
He paused before talking again:
"My friendship with William is very strong, we have known each other for a long time, he is almost as a brother to me, practically as a member of my family ... We trust each other a lot, so I know a lot about his life, I know that William has some problems at home ... Deep down I'm afraid that he might do something irremediable, you know?"
I nodded, a little sad for William, I didn't know what kind of problems he was facing, but I felt that he was a good person and that he didn't deserve that ...
