She didnt say a word until wrong got back into the Hotel.
Then I asked
"Was that really your dad?"
"Of course."
"But you didn't say anything. Or do anything to talk to him?"
"That's my father. But with his family. With his new life. I doubt he'd even remember he had a daughter. Much less remember who I was."
"Alex. You didn't have to say anything. But if we could be back in the moment, I would have said Hi dad."
"If it happens again, maybe" is all she said, to finish the conversation.
