Third Person
Summer ng naisipan ng mga Buenaventura na mag bakasyon sa Bacolod, upang makatakas pansamantala sa mga trabahong bumabaha. Agarang bumaba si Saliera sa van na sinasakyan ng maka dating na sila sa bahay nila sa Bacolod.
"Shalani! Dali ang ganda dito!" Tawag nito sa kapatid na kakagising lang. Kinukusot pa nito ang mata ng bumaba sa van.
"Saliera! Shalani! Mag ingat kayo! Take care of your sister saliera!" Paalala ng ama nilang si Lindeol Marc Buenaventura habang inilalabas nito ang kahon.
"Okaaay!" Magiliw na sigaw ni saliera at basta nlng hinigit ang kamay ng bunso patungo sa isang gazebo. "My ghad! This is my third time here shal! And this is your first time!" Hambog nito sa kapatid na wala nmn sa mood.
Kilala ang mga Buenaventura sa larangan ng business. They owned Restaurants, Fashion Designer, and Groceries plus their wide lands. Magaling na business tycoon ang kanilang ama habang magaling na designer nmn ang kanilang inang si Myrtle Buenaventura. Everything was perfect for them.
"Cm'n shalani! Let's play!" Marahas na hila nito sa kapatid na nakaupo sa bangko.
"I'm still sleepy." Malambing na sabi ng bunso.
"Tsk!" Inis na sabi nito at iniwan ang kapatid sa gazebo.
Bumuntong hininga nmn si shalani at dahan dahang tumayo para sundan ang kapatid nito. Umabot nmn sila sa likod ng bahay na may swimming pool at hindi kalaparang yard.
"Let's swim!" Aya ni saliera sa kay shalani na wala parin sa mood. Umiling nmn ito bilang tugon sa ate. Saliera rolled her eyes. "Whatever shalani!" She spat and run towards the pool.
Umupo nmn si shalani sa isang lounger malapit sa pool. Wala sa mood nitong pinagmamasdan ang makulimlim nang kalangitan. She sighed and decided to get inside their house.
"Mom? I want to sleep more. Where could I sleep?" She asked using her tiny voice. She's just 9years old.
"There baby girl." Turo nito sa kulay violet na pinto. She just nodded and stepped in to that room, she lazily lay down and without the snap of minutes she slept peacefully.
Nagising nlng ito sa ingay na nagmumula sa labas. She cutely rubbed her eyes to take away her morning stars. She stepped out and surprisingly with bunches of children's in the living room.
"Mom!" She shouted while walking towards the living room. She roam around and find some eyes narrowed on her. A boy with his dreadful eyes, she feel confused instead being terrified with it. She come closer to the boy sitting on the couch. "What are you looking at?" She asked nicely out of curiosity. The boy just keep silent.
"Oh, shalani! Here you go!" Her mom said, she glance again to the boy before turning it to her mom with her sister in the back smiling widely.
"Look at this shal! This one is for you!" Her sister hand over the purple Barbie to her.
"Thankyou." She said joyfully.
