011019 - They Finally Collide

It's past 3 a.m., but I couldn't sleep. Tsk. Did I miss him already? Hihihi.

On my calendar, it's already Jan 10. Pero yung after-effect ng previous date was really unforgettable. Let me share how the night started in Mines View Park.

We walked a lot before we reached the Observatory Deck. I've been there before, actually. Pero may araw 'yun. It's a whole different beauty when some part of the place which used to be a mining town of Itogon where gold and copper lies in Benguet, were lit with colors under the night sky.

And the sky itself is another thing. Wow. I never thought I could see the wonders of the galaxy here. "Look there, Felix. Wooaaah! There are billion of stars!"

"Yeah. I'm so lucky to find one."

"Ha?" While I stretched out my arms and pointed my finger in the sky. He gently pulled it and started hugging me from my back, with his long and thick jacket covering me as well.

"It's very cold here, Hugo. Let's stay like this, I'll warm you." Dugdug! Dugdug! Dugdug! Shetness! Ang lakas ng tibok ng puso ko. My gooosh. What if mag-cardiac arrest ako dito. Then he started to talk again..

"To be honest, hindi talaga kita nakilala. One of our mutual friends reminded me of who you are, Hugo." He spoke while looking directly to the beautiful sea of stars above us.

"S-sino?" Then one particular name got into my mind. "Si Lily ba?" I said as I found myself comfortable in our very close position.

"Yeah. Siya nga. She immediately sent me a message nung pinost ko sa FB ko yung picture mo na nakatingin sa isang yellow flower. Tanda mo?"

"Ahh. Oo."

"She even teased me kung tayo na raw ba? I said you're just a stranger I met here at Baguio. Then ayun, she told me about you. Which really surprised me kasi hindi ko pa alam na ikaw pala yung lalaking nakasama ko sa Love Room last December. Haha. Yung naging first ever kiss ko sa gay."

"Nandiri ka ba nung naalala mo?" I minimized my voice dahil sa hiya. Lalo nung binanggit niya na 'gay' ako.

"Ano ka ba Hugo. Do you think I'll be comfortable hugging you right now kung nandiri ako sayo nun?"

T-talaga? "Um. You said its 'all just for fun' dati. I wonder kung ganun din ngayon."

"Haha. I meant it back then. Then I realized it's a bit harsh to someone who gave me a kiss I can't forget since that night."

You can't forget that kiss as well? All this time, akala ko ako lang ang di makaget-over dun.

"It's a bit confusing and insane na ganun nga ang nangyari. I don't know why."

"P-pero sabi mo nun, hindi ako marunong humalik." I really felt the embarrassment again nung in-open up ko yun.

But he said smiling, "Yeah, I know. But even though hindi ka marunong, your lips taste sweet. Para bang nakakaadik."

Hala! Ano ba 'tong si Felix? Alam kong nako-confused siya ngayon base na rin sa pagkukwento niya. Pero parang ang bilis naman magbago ang ihip ng hangin. Gusto niya ba ako?

"Um. Felix, pasensya ka na ha. But everything seems going fast. Hehe." Pilit kong pagtawa sa bandang dulo, pero hindi pa rin ako kumakawala sa pagkakatakip ng katawan ko gamit ang mahabang jacket niya. "Hindi kaya nabibigla ka lang?" Sabi ko.

"Sorry Hugo if you feel that way. Hindi ko rin maintindihan ang sarili ko eh. Parang mina-madali ko rin ang oras. Siguro, dahil 3 days nalang kami dito?" Ani niya. May point siya.
