"Don't be nervous okay you got this Mia." "I'm scared what if they don't want me because I'm pregnant then how will I pay for my own apartment and for the baby stuff." "Mia calm down you know I will always be there if you need me okay? I will never let you struggle alone."
I looked at the store then back at Nalia. "You got this Mia. Do it for your baby." I took a few deeps breathes and walked in the store. "Tell me when you're done I'll get you after!" I gave her a thumbs up with a smile on my face.
I walked up to the counter nervously and asked the clerk for the boss. He went to the office and came back out to take me there. It was in the back and I had to take stairs to get up there. The clerk knew I was gonna struggle going up so he carried me up the stairs.
"I'll be back in about 15 minutes to help you back down okay?" I nodded and said thanks then went into the office. Now the way the office looked I would think it was an evil rich dude but it was a little old lady sitting at the desk.
"Have a seat honey." I sat down in the chair in front of her. "What's your name?" "Cosimia Park." "How old are you?" "I turn 16 next week." "How far along are you?" "Nine months." "Why do you want to work here?"
"Because I want to be able to take care of my baby when it comes. I want to be able to get my child whatever they want so they can grow up to be the best them they can possibly be. I want to be able to be independent and not have to ask people for anything."
The lady smiled at me and sat up straight. "Well you got the job." "Really?!" "Yes but since you are nine months pregnant I want you to wait until after the baby comes to start working because I don't want you going into labor in my store." I stood up and thanked her so many times.
I said my last thank and walked out of the office. As promised the clerk was there and helped me down the stairs. I waved to the clerk and left the store to call Nalia quickly.
Nalia: Hello
Me: I GOT THE JOB NALIA
Nalia: I told you you would
Me: THANK YOU SO MUCH
Nalia: You don't have to thank me at all but we should celebrate so I'll take you to get some octopus when I get off okay
Me: Okay
Nalia: Do you want me to pick you up or do you want to walk
Me: I can walk the apartment not that far away
Nalia: Call me when you get home
Me: Okay bye
Nalia: Bye Mia
