Rian had just begun to fight Skekmal for the gelfling's survival. Well fighting Skekmal she remembered a trick that Mira once showed her.
She used the trick on the Skeksis Hunter and it worked perfectly. Skekmal raised his sword above his head. Then he brought it down.
He had intended to strike Rian except interpret the move. And easily used her wings to get out of the way.
All of sudden Skekmal used his tail to strike her down to ground and to throw her sword way out of her reach.
Now all of the gelfling's clan really hoped to Thra. That Rian would survive this fight.
