Hurry, hurry, hurry you stupid elevator! "Y/N, for the love of God tell me you have the com in" Seungmin shouted through my ears. I looked up at the camera, nodding. "Yeah, I do. Everything okay Seungmin?" I could hear a relieved sigh. "Jisung filled us all in. Seems like he's using some sort of remote control device allowing him to open the forcefield around the city for a minute. From the looks of it it's altered for specifically today so that it can only open today. If we ever want to get out of here, that is our best plan. The boys and I are taking the stairs now, do you think you could take the control from Felix? I'll send Hyunjin and Chan up otherwise." I shook my head. "I got this. I don't know how, but I'll get it. Be careful!" I heard a small chuckle, a loud crash following soon. "Can't promise that princess, but that was our cue to go. We'll wait down the stairs for you in the building, hurry up!"
This might just be our only shot at freedom, there was no way I could mess this up. The elevator slowed down quick, meaning only one thing. In a second, I was going to be outside with those two. The elevator doors opened, revealing Changbin and Felix arguing. "Felix, we have to go get the others! We promised right? It's all or none!" Changbin argued, but Felix desperately clung onto him. "No, you can't! They all lied to us all along, they just kept us here for their own good. I'm sure Hyunjin even sent Y/N here just to mess everything up. It's too dangerous if more people come along, we have to go Bin, now!"
"Felix? Changbin?" I gently called out with the cutest smile ever. Don't let them know. Quick, look around. Where could he have the remote? "Y/N?" Changbin called out shocked, his face looking horribly pained. "What are you doing here?" Felix asked. He already knew. "I just needed some fresh air, and I missed you guys, that's all." Poor Changbin, he didn't know a single thing. I slowly walked closer to the two, looking at the basket. That's gotta be where he hid the remote.
"Something smells good" I said, eyeing the basket. "Oh, right! You made some snacks right, Lix? Thank goodness, I could use some!" I said, sounding relieved. I reached out to the basket, but Felix instantly pulled away. "We already ate. We're kind of busy, so I'd rather if you'd just go" Felix coldly answered. I shook my head, hugging Changbin tightly. At least I didn't have to act about missing and loving him. If things went wrong, who knows if I could ever hold him again anyways? "I don't wanna go. I missed Binnie too much!"
Changbin was shaking, his watery eyes flickering. "Y/N..." he called out, tightly hugging back. He finally realized it too, didn't he? That after today, nothing would be the same. "Felix, I really won't go. I'm sorry" Changbin called out, even his voice cracking. Felix grew quiet for a second, turning to me with a terrifying angered look. "You! It's all your fault! Changbin belongs to me, me, me! Let him go you stupid whench!" he shouted out in rage, flying with his fist towards me.
Now! I duck as Felix swung at me, instantly grabbing the remote out of the basket and running towards the stairs. "We're all getting out of this stupid city, quick, run!" I shouted back, opening the door. Felix already deactivated the force field here anyways for his plan. "Wait! Stop! Don't leave me! Don't leave me here alone! You can't all leave without me!" Felix yelled in despair, running close after me, Changbin running after as well.
"Y/N!" A voice shouted from down the stairs, Jeongin with a face happier than I'd ever seen before. All the other's attention went to me hopefully. "I got it!" I shouted, the guys with relieved faces. "What about Lix and Bin?" Chan yelled as he held the door open for everyone to run through. "Right behind me, lets go!" Chan nodded with a smile as I ran past him, swiftly handing him the remote. As soon as Felix and Changbin run through as well, Chan finally started moving too, running up to the front as soon as he could.
Close, they were getting too close. The creatures were already catching up faster than expected, though luckily the end of the city was already near. "Open it, now!" Hyunjin yelled, almost running into the force field. Chan looked back at the rest and nodded, pushing the button which allowed a small opening. One by one. First Hyunjin, then Minho, Chan, Seungmin, Jisung, Jeongin grabbing my hand instantly to pull me along as well.
A loud terrified scream sounded from behind us. I instantly stopped running, looking back. Felix tripped, laying on the ground in pain and horror. "Get up you idiot, now!" I yelled terrified. Quick, quick, quick! Time was running out! But it was too late. Changbin tried to run back, but three, four, five of the creatures were already surrounding him so that he was invisible. He didn't make it.
"Changbin, there's no saving him, come back!" I yelled again with tears in my eyes. Changbin turned to me, just standing still with the calmest, sweetest smile ever on his face. "Changbin, run you dumbass!" Chan shouted too. I was about to go back to get him when the field got activated again. "No, no, no!" I shouted, desperately bangin on the field. "Changbin!" I shouted out again, tears uncontrollably flowing down, my hand flat on the forcefield
He slowly walked up to the force field, putting his hand on the other side, almost as if we were holding hands again. "Y/N" Changbin started softly. "Marry me" he said, completely making me stop crying for a second, staring at him. "You told me you wanted to get married right? I know it's not much, but Y/N, I love you so, so much. Please, will you marry me?" I instantly nodded, the tears coming out again. "Of course you idiot" I cried out.
His smile grew wider and wider as he finally cracked too, the tears streaming down his cheeks. "I love you Y/N" he said one last time as he too got taken down. "I promise I'll come back to you with a cure so we can get married for real!" I shouted desperately as Jeongin took my hand, taking me with him and the others.
"I love you too Changbin, with all my heart."
