Reasons

YEONJUN'S POV

My alarm blares the annoying sound it usually makes as my hand automatically flew to stop the noise. Groaning, I lift myself up and took a quick hot shower before putting on my uniform

The boys stayed for the night except for our beloved Weasley boy who got pissed by the breach yesterday. It's so amusing to think that he's overworking himself to catch the culprit like his life depends on it

Shaking my head, I proceeds to the living room where the boys are sleeping like they're laying on a cave. Comforters sprawled around their body and three of them are sleeping in various ways. Beomgyu's foot is almost touching Kai's half open mouth

I grimaced at them before pulling off the comforters, "Wake up you all lazy assholes!" I screamed on top of my lungs that my voice reverberated across the room, leading the three of them jumped in fright. Almost bumping their heads in the process

"This is one of the reasons I hate staying with you." Soobin gruffly snapped, rubbing his eyes tiredly, "Which I am very pleased to hear. Get up or I'll lock you guys in here without hesitation."

I pulled Beomgyu's arms and he landed on his butt real hard, "I have my own feet, hyung! You don't need to pull me off." He prostested, shuffling his feet to stand up

Just as they're about to get up, the exit door burst open and revealed our red boy wearing a cold facade, "How's the hunt?" I inquired, sitting next to him while preparing breakfast

"I couldn't trace anything. I just wasted my time for nothing." He gritted his teeth, almost crushing the glass of water I gave him in his hands, "Don't lose hope. I'm sure we'll find a way." I assured and ate my food in silence

I heard him huffed a breath before stuffing almost all the food inside his mouth in one go, "Why are you even so worked up with this?"

In the corner of my eye, I saw how he stiffened as if he was bought back in reality, "I hate losing." He mumbled with a short, making me burst in laughters, scowling at me in return

"There isn't any competition to begin with, Tae. Don't work yourself too much, it's most probably just a nuisance trying to piss us off." I pat his shoulder with a light squeeze

He tilted his head to look at me, bemused at my statement, "Yeah, sure. A nuisance who hacked our security protocols just for fun. Sure, it's just a nuisance." He drawled out in mockery

He went back to his food but halted halfway as if realizing something, "What?" I asked

He suddenly snapped his left fingers, "Who was the one who tried to invade our protocols last time?" His eyes are a bit widened when he asked me

I looked up at the ceiling, trying to come up an answer, "I don't really know. There's a lot of them to cover."

He shook his head frantically and stood up straight, "The one who beat me!"

I spurt my juice all around the kitchen counter and looked at him with bewilderment, "Your saying one member of Itzy was trying to hack our security?!" I exclaimed, slightly disoriented with how I'm chewing my food

"That sounds absurd." A gruff voice mused, we all glanced at the right to see the other three are dressed in their uniform with their slightly tousled

"I can say the same but there's a possibility though." Kai shrugged half heartedly before sitting on a stool across us, "Speaking of them. We still haven't discussed how on Earth this mission will work with them."
