Chapter 10🦋

Petal's P.O.V 

After Evie dropped me home from work, I immediately went to the kitchen to have a glass of water after 10 minutes of just sitting there and thinking of what to cook for tonight's dinner ,
I decided to go have a shower and get out of my work clothes, 

After my shower, I made my way back to the kitchen to prepare said dinner as it was already 6,
I made some white rice and curry chicken (I refuse to call it anything else) with a garden salad,
 Just as I was finishing up dinner, I heard a bike pull into my driveway, a few minutes later my phone rang, Maddox's name flashing across the screen, quickly answering the call

"Open the door baby girl" he said, I replied with a soft "okay" before hanging up and walking to the door, once I opened the door I was greeted with smiling Maddox ,he placed a quick kiss on my forehead, 
"Hi beautiful" he said walking into the house and following me to the kitchen, I made a plate for myself and Maddox, sliding his over to him before going to the fridge,
 "Orange, cran -mango juice, wine or water?" I asked
while looking into the fridge, "water please baby" he replied, after giving him his water and deciding to have some cran -mango juice, I said a silent pray before digging into my food,
"So baby how was your day?" Maddox asked with his mouth full, I grimaced at that,
" Maddox swallow your food please" I said giggling slightly,
"But it's so good baby" he groaned which made me squeeze my legs together at the smooth, manly sound,
After he swallowed his food, then repeated his question,
"It was fine, little stressful cause we had 3 big orders, one that needed to be finished by 3 so it could be collected, which was a bit unfair considering the order was placed at 11:30 but it all came together so I guess that was alright, I started the other 2 which means I have to be at work extra early in the morning to start icing and decorating so they could be collected at 11 and they would be set" I told him while taking a sip of my juice, he nodded seeming genuinely interested in my day,
"what about you, how was your day handsome?" I asked him, seeing that we both done eating, I gathered the plates , walking over to the sink,
"It was okay, had some club business to tend to" It was then I felt arms wrapping around my waist along with soft kisses being placed along  my neck,
"But it would have been better, if I spent it with you" he said continuing to place kisses on my neck, then
spinning me around to give me a lingering kiss on my forehead, which made my heart to do the little jump it always does at this sign of affection,

"Maddox stop, let me finish the dishes " I told him trying to pull away, he shook his head "I'll finish up here, go pick a movie, grab some ice cream, some spoons
and wait for me in the living room" he said well it was more of a demand.... while giving me another kiss on head and shifting me away from the sink, I shook my head at his actions but did as he asked,

After a few minutes I settled on the new  Wonder Woman movie,
Maddox soon came into the living room, and hoisted me onto his lap while wrapping us in a blanket,

Chile . . . . .15 minutes into the movie this wigga was dead asleep, after I finished my movie, I woke his can't hang self up and told him it was time for bed,

"How was your nap?" I asked with a smile, he laughed "Great thanks for asking" he replied sarcastically, placing me onto the couch he took up the ice cream tub, along with the spoons and walked to the kitchen,
He returned to the living room after locking up, placing me over his shoulder making me squeal which caused him to slap my butt, " Look at the jiggle" he said giving it another slap, I pinched his butt
"Quit it Capo", he sped up his walking to the bedroom, when he got there he placed me on the bed and then hovered over me with a smirk on his handsome face,

"How did I get so lucky to have such a gorgeous woman" he said in his deep baritone voice which instantly filled me with desire for this beautiful man, placing his hands on both sides of my face he gave me one of his addicting kisses,

"Maddox I have work in the morning" I said in between kisses he continued to give, he let out a dramatically long sigh, "FINEEEEEE" he said making me giggle ,

"Maybe tomorrow handsome" I told him, grabbing my bonnet, and something to sleep in while walking to the bathroom deciding that I'm too tired to shower and will just do it in the morning, after doing my business and changing my clothes ,
on my return to bed, I found a boxer clad Capo waiting for me,

"Come Come, it's time for bed little lady " he said tapping my side of the bed, I laughed at his cute actions and got in bed , almost instantly I was being cuddled  by him , I soon found my eyes being heavy with sleep and while drifting I heard him say "I pray this feeling doesn't end" then I was out like a light.

A/N-Helloooooo dolls, now I know I haven't updated the book in a very long time, but I live a very 'busy' life and I really appreciate you guys for bearing with me and these slow updates, I hope everyone stays safe, SANATIZE, WEAR YOUR MASK,S O C I A L   D I S T A N C E and all the good stuff,
