Once upon a time
I walked alone with tears in my eyes
I didn't know why
Until I fell into the light
I've been taken somewhere new
Somewhere I thought that I could be free
I don't know what I should do
With all of my hearts' debris
I see you look at me from afar
And notice myself wonder who you are
One thing I can see, are your bright eyes
And I wonder if it's all a lie

Even as I see your face
I feel tears stream down my own
I wanted to care about all of your grace
But what filled was the disgrace of my own
