Zuko brings up the idea to go live back in his family's old house in Ember Island. Everyone agrees because clearly they're all sick and tired of sleeping on the hard ground. They all arrive in Ember Island and it feels like a vacation. Even Suki and Sokka take a stroll around and come across a play written about their whole journey across the world.
Suki shows everyone the poster and they all are so excited and they all wanna go see the play.
"Ugghhh nooo every year my mom would bring us there and all they do is butcher the plays" Zuko says irritated
"Oh shut up it can't be that bad. Plus it's about us" Toph says
"Yea! Come on we have to see it!!" Says Katara with excitement
"Okay, well the plays tomorrow so let's all get a good nights rest and go see it" Suki says happily
They all go to the beach and shower and go to bed. Lucky for Zuko abs Katara their rooms are right next to each other. Katara tries to sneak into Zukos room because she's confused about what they were and what happened that night in her tent. Too bad Sokka caught her sneaking out when he was going to the bathroom.
"Hey what are you doing up this late? And where are you going" Sokka said confused
"Umm no where" Katara says nervously
"Oh okay! Well goodnight!" Sokka said cluelessly
"Phew" Katara said as she wiped her forehead with relief.
She continued to sneak into his room and as she opened his door he was trying to sneak into her room.
"Oh hey.." said Zuko as he itched his head
He was shirtless, and Katara quickly got distracted from what she was coming to do.
"O-oh, h-hey Z-zuko i was just coming to talk to you" Katara said nervously
"Oh okay. What is it about?" Zuko said also nervously
"I'm just confused on what happened that night in my tent. I just don't know what we are" Katara said
"Katara. Even though our paths were not the same, you always saw the good in me when no one else did. I-i l-love y-you Katara" Zuko said as he blushed
"Zuko, I love you too, and I just wanna be with you forever." Katara said happily
Zuko grabbed her hand and brought her into his room. He slammed the door shut and locked it so no one could interrupt this time. They started kissing, and eventually they made it to the bed. He took off her shirt and just took a minute to admire her beauty. They did it all night long again, and this time they woke up cuddling and holding hands.
They really did love each other. Katara's mom taught her when she was young that if she was gonna lose her virginity to someone, it should be someone she loved and trusted the most. It was Zuko. Zuko was the one she loved and trusted the most.
