I pushed through the doors of Ivy high school. I could feel in my shoulders my anxiety was rising. I was about to walk into the principles office when I heard a voice behind me. "Hey you! New girl!" It said. I turned around and saw a gorgeous blonde haired girl. "Yea?" I said slowly approaching her. "Whats your name?" She asked. "Maycee." I said. "Oh, mines Taylor!" She said smiling. "Nice to meet you taylor." I said smiling back. Another girl walked up to taylor. "Hey tay! And who do we have here?" The girl said looking at me. "Oh thats maycee, shes new here!" Taylor said. "Nice to meet you maycee! Im claire!" She said. "Nice to meet you too." I said. "I'll show you around today so that you dont have to go to the principles office and get some random person." Taylor said. "Thanks haha, i was kinda dreading that!" I laughed. "So whats your schedule?" Taylor asked. " First hour: Advanced algebra. Second hour: Economics.
Third hour: Study hall.
C lunch
Fourth hour: Chemistry.
Fifth hour: English." I said. "Wow we have second, lunch, and fourth together!" Taylor said happily. "Sweet! Thank god i wont be alone at lunch!" I giggled. "Alrighty kid lets get ya to your first class." Taylor said. We walked upstairs together until we reached room 242. "Here you go!" Taylor smiled. "Thanks taylor!" I said. "Call me tay!" She said walking away. I entered the room and sat in the back corner, smiling to myself that I already made a friend. I decided to check my twitter and texts quick. Before I knew it there was a whole bunch of people piled in the classroom. "Today class, we will be introducing a new student!" The teacher said. "Everybody this is maycee! Maycee I am mr. Kalzowski! If you ever need anything let me know." He said. "Thanks." I smiled. He carried on about some boring advanced algebra syllabus. I was too busy texting to even notice the bell rang. "Hey, you can go now kid." The teacher said standing by my desk. "Oops." I said laughing. Well at least my first hour went well!
