"You know you confuse a girl a lot when you say too young and then all of a sudden it is that you like her," Maya said causing Josh to look at her.
"Really? Thought you would love that I changed my mind. Anyway, why did your mom all of a sudden decide to change apartments? Was she unhappy at the previous place?" Josh asked and Maya shook her head.
"Definitely not. But her dear ex-husband suddenly started to feel really bad because his daughter was growing up in such a dump that he started to pay maintenance on me for the first time in nine years," Maya said rolling her eyes.
"Not that he has ever cared. But I dont know what he actually wants to do. But I'm not complaining at all. At least I can go on with my life in peace right now. What are you doing here? Because I don't believe this story that you came to just help with the heavy furniture, Maya said and Josh smiled.
"Can we perhaps talk at a different place than here?" Josh asked as Maya looked around the apartment seeing that most of the work was done with.
"Um sure, let me just tell my mom then we can go," Maya said as she left the room.
