3rd Person POV

You start to walk towards the only way you can find, but it's really dark and you almost can't see a thing, however, while you were walking in a dark hallway, a green light came from a little TV

Y/n: "ENTRY NUMBER 1: This is it... Time to do what the King has asked me to do. I will create the power to free us all. I will unleash the power of the SOUL."

Chara: Is that Alphys' thing?

Y/n: She IS a scientist... Guess this is her lab... Her true lab...

You kept walking and saw several other lights starting to flicker in the distance

Y/n: "ENTRY NUMBER 2: The barrier is locked by SOUL power... Unfortunately, this power cannot be recreated artificially. SOUL power can only be derived from what was once living. So, to create more, we will have to use what we have now... The SOULs of monsters.

Chara: That... Doesn't sound friendly...

Y/n: Not at all...

Chara: "ENTRY NUMBER 3: But extracting a SOUL from a living monster would require incredible power... Besides being impractical, doing so would instantly destroy the SOUL's host. And, unlike the persistent SOULs of humans, the SOULs of monsters disappear immediately upon death. If only I could make a monster's SOUL last..."

Y/n: I guess that's when things start to turn sour...

Chara: You bet...

Chara: "ENTRY NUMBER 5: I've done it. Using the blueprints, I've extracted from the human SOULs, I believe this is what gives their SOULs the strength to persist after death. The will to keep living... The resolve to change fate. Let's call this power...

Y/n: "Determination..."

Chara: Yes...

Y/n: So... Monsters can't handle the will to be alive? The power to live? That's sad actually, and... Depressing

You continue walking and found a vending machine right next to a door. You try to open the door to no avail, the place doesn't have enough power to open this door, so you buy some chips instead

Chara: Hey, Y/n, can you read what's in this paper here?

There's a note on the ground... You can't make it all out.

Y/n: "Elevator... Lost power... Enter the center door..."

Chara: Is that all you could read?

Y/n: Yeah, sorry...

You look at the door again and see another TV with something written on it

Y/n: "POWER ROOM"

Chara: That makes sense, but it's locked...

Y/n: Let's unlock it then, let's power the power room!

You see a giant door with dark red details on it, but you noticed it didn't have energy too

Chara: There's another hall to the left, let's check there, maybe there's the exit or something...
