136. Replay

Sakura opened her eyes, revealing blurry vision. She knew she was under a genjutsu, as soon as she looked into Sasuke's eyes she knew she had made a mistake. She sat up, everything around her was dark. She looked down, sorrow evident on her face. Naruto and Sasuke were most likely fighting at this very moment, and here she was, probably lying on the hard ground and being what she thought of as Useless.

That is, until a voice boomed around her, making her jump.

"Do you want to stop them?" It asked.

"Yes." She said, without hesitation.

"I can help."

"How?"

"I can send you back to when you were all twelve, start your lives over."

"That won't change anything, Naruto will still be alone and Sasuke's clan will still be dead."

"I can change that too."

".. then do it." She doubted the voice fully, believing it was perhaps part of the genjutsu.

"It comes with a price."

"What's the price?"

"You'll be the one that's alone."

And once again, she spoke without hesitation. "Do it." And they did.

When Sakura woke up once again, she was in what she recognized as her childhood home, but now she was twelve years old, and the picture of her family she knew she had on her bedroom wall was gone.
