Chapter 9

"I like you"he said

My brows furrowed after I heard what he said.What does he mean?He likes me?why me?
I was starting to overthink when he suddenly laughed,I was so confused right now!

"Why are you staring at me like that?What I mean is I like your personality,your a generous person. You didn't hesistate on helping the old lady earlier even if it means you'll get wet because of the rain and you will ended up here waiting for the rain to stop" he explained

I sighed heavily after hearing that,I was nervous!I thought he was confessing to me earlier and of course I thought of Chantal. My bestfriend likes him and he wasn't my type.

"As I was saying earlier,My bestfriend is the first one who has a genuine love for childrens and elders.I grew up with her that's why now I also had what personality she has.I started caring for childerns and elders especially those who are already orphans,It was all because of Chantal,I got it from her"I said and smile a bit at him

"The friendship you have with her is amazing,not everyone has that kind of frienship"He said and offered his towel again

"Thanks,Ibabalik ko agad sayo 'to"I said to him

"No worries,I don't have jacket right now so that's the only thing I can offer"he said

"This is fine,hindi naman ako nilalamig"

"Your hair was wet because you ran in the middle of the rain earlier"he said while pointing at my hair

Hinawakan ko yung buhok,medyo nabasa nga talaga siya kaya pinunasan ko na rin gamit yung towel na pinahiram ni Aziel,medyo basa na rin yung uniform ko buti nalang dark grey yung color ng uniform namin kaya hindi siya nag mukhang see through

Pagkatapos ka magpunas ay tinawagan ko na si Chantal,malamang kanina pa yun naghihintay pero lalong lumalakas yung ulan kaya hindi na lang siguro ako magpapahintay sa kanya

"Chantal!Im sorry I was stuck here in School,hindi na ako makapunta diyan dahil nilagay ko yung payong ko sa bag mo kanina
at sobrang lakas na talaga ng ulan"I was almost shouting because the sound of the rain was so loud

[May naghihintay na tricycle satin,puntahan ka nalang namin dyan]

"No I'm okay,tinawagan ko na rin si mom at susunduin na lang niya ako dahil pauwi na rin siya"I said

[Are you sure?]

"Yeah,mom is on her way here.I was actually with Aziel right now we're both stuck here,pupunta nalang ako mamaya sainyo okay?you go home na"

[Omg!how I wish I was also stuck there] she said while laughing a bit [anyways ang hirap magcommute ngayon kaya uuwi nalang talaga ako,magkwento ka sakin mamaya ha!]

"Of course I will,see you later"I said before ending the call

Parehas parin kami nakatayo ni Aziel dito sa gate naghihintay na tumili yung ulan at sana 'di matraffic si mom para makarating na agad siya sobranh nangangalay na ako tapos ang boring na dahil 'di na nagsalita si Aziel at wala na rin naman kaming mapagusapan

Minutes passed and my mom already I came.Medyo tumila na rin ang ulan,inalok ko si Aziel na ihahatid nalang namin siya dahil medyo malapit lang naman ang bahay nila pero tumanggi siya tatakbuhin nalang daw niya yung malapit na pila ng tricyle

When we arrived at our house,I saw my dad's car so I assumed that he was already here.I was so tired and I don't know if I should say that I'm finally home because I knew that wasn't true.
