36. A promised duel: Part 2

 Knowing that she would attack, Yuma reacts. 'I activate Half Unbreak. My trap won't let my monster be destroyed and it cuts the damage I take in half.' Still, he gets hit and falls. Having fun, he jumps up. 'Good one, Neith. This is fun.' 

'Fun!' Not something that Neith would use to describe the duel. 'I use to believe that too until one day.' 

'What happened?' Yuma can see on her face the change. 

Neith knows her monster is back to her side of the field. 'War happened. Rise Falcon's attack points return back to normal.' She doesn't want to talk about it. 'Your move.' She leaves it with one card face down on her field. 

'Watch this.' He draws his next card. 'I summon Gagaga Girl and Gagaga Magician. Because I have Gagaga Magician my Gagaga Girl's level becomes the same as his. I build the overlay network and Xyz summon Number 39 Utopia!' 

Neith knew al along that Yuma would summon a Number card. 'Quite a warrior you have.' 

'Wait til you see him in action! Utopia attack Rise Falcon!' Yuma points at the falcon across the field. 

 Celeste shakes her head. 'Dumbass, Neith saw this coming from a mile away. She's prepared.' 

Kite agrees. 'I wouldn't be surprised if she analyzed a few of his duels.' 

'She did.' Celeste looks at the attack. 

'I don't think so, Yuma. My spell Raidraptor Evasive will stop your attack by returning one Xyz material to my hand.' Neith takes a card away from Rise Falcon. 

He laughs. 'Then I attack you with Heroic Champion Excalibur.' 

There is nothing that Neith sees coming that she's prepared for. 'I activate the spell Raptor's Intercept Form and switch the attack and defense points. That way, I don't take any damage.' 

'Try to get rid of that continous spell card, Yuma,' tells Astral him. 

Even Bronk face palms himself. 'That's a rookie mistake, Yuma, even for you.' 

'How can he make a mistake like this? In the end, he did won the world duel carnival.' Caswell turns more to Neith. 'Not to mention that she stops everything that Yuma throws at her. I wouldn't be surprised if she can win it from him.' 

'Keep your comment to yourself.' Cat has faith in Yuma to win the duel. 

Yuma shrugs. 'I'll end it for now.' 

Neith takes the card of the top of her deck. 'I use Rise Falcon's special ability, by using one overlay unit, he gains the attack points from all your monsters. Making him the most powerful monster in the field. Furthermore, he has another effect, he can attack all your special summoned monsters. Attack Excalibur and Utopia!' 

To witness his Heroic Champion Excalibur, who is now destroyed. 'Not all of them. I use one overlay unit of Utopia to stop your attack and activate Bye Bye Damage to negate any damage to throw at me.' 

'Good thinking,' compliments Astral him. 

'Rise Falcon's attack points return to normal. I end my turn with one card.' Neith knows she has enough cards activated. 

'Prepare to lose.' Yuma takes his card to activate his turn. 'You really don't smile in a duel, do you? It's supposed to be fun, making friends.' 

Neith doesn't react to it. His words about fun triggered a memory of her past. 

'Fine, I'm ending this duel. Utopia attack Rise Falcon! Rising sun slash!' Yuma can see the swords from Utopia.
