Chapter 10: 2nd Day

No one's POV

Shuichi woke up with messy hair and fabric marks on both his face and arms "I must've been moving so much last night," he said while feeling the marks on his arm until they soften (Lol that happens to me most of the time it's so annoying ) "I wonder what's in store for us today?" Shuichi yawned and stood up from his bed and fixed it then went out of his room.

"Good morning," Shuichi greeted "G'morning," Maki greeted back as she took a seat on the table while setting up the glasses for Himiko and Shuichi "Nyeh, good morning Shuichi," Himiko smiled. Shuichi smiled back and went to the sink to wash his face and prepared a towel. "We'll be meeting them again let's eat," Maki looked at the boy and ate her meal, Shuichi nodded and joined the two for breakfast.

Oma residence

"Mother, are you going out today?" Katsumi's voice echoed across the living room and to the kitchen where her mother was "Het," she simply replied. "Ey mama, I'm going with big sis today," Kyoshi went to the kitchen to bid her goodbye "Хорошо, будьте осторожны по дороге, детки," she replied while giving Kyoshi  and Katsumi a kiss on the cheek.

Translation (Katsumi's mother):
-No
-Alright, be careful on your way kids.

"And Mother please don't forget to feed Kiril for me okay?" Katsumi added while going to the aquarium and tapping the glass "Bye Kiril, mommy Katsu is going out to work now," Katsumi said through the aquarium where a little Violet Octopus was making little bubbling sounds.

"Sis come on!" Kyoshi called while going out of the house bidding their mother one last goodbye "Alright, see you later mother!" Katsumi bid her a goodbye again and went out to the garage to get their car.

"Хе-хе, детки ..." She chuckled and continued to clean the container containing lots of fishes, she'll be cooking one for tonight's dinner "Если бы только вы двое были еще здесь," she added while frowning when she remembered her husband (Kokichi and Katsumi's father) and her son, Kokichi.

Translation:

"Oh woah oh woah," Mizuno sang along through the song's lyrics that was playing on the radio while Kyoshi was staring at the car's window, his eyes following each house and vehicle that their car passes by "So sis... What happens if we find them alive what do we so next?" Kyoshi asked "Well, we return them to their families then reunite with Kokichi again and..." Katsumi gulped down to her throat "And might, just might... have a talk with Tsumugi Shirogane," Katsumi added.

"Hmm... I can imagine reuniting with Koki again but talking to that Shirogane girl is uhh... how do you call it uhhmmm..." Kyoshi bit his thumb "inelegeant?" Mizuno said from the back seat (She's still in the tablet, just buckled up by a seat belt) "Yeah!" Kyoshi snapped his fingers and grinned. "You could've just said 'awkward' did you really have to think about a synonym that didn't even match the sentence?" Katsumi glared at her brother (*Cough* step brother, please don't insert step sibling jokes in the comments if you do I'll break your kneecaps) "Just trying to learn something" Kyoshi chuckled while Katsumi just rolled her eyes.

Meanwhile

"Water?" Maki called while putting some things in her purse "Got it but it's big this time," Himiko showed a large lime green water bottle to Maki earning a chuckle from Maki "Phone?" Maki looked at Shuichi where he was still in a middle of texting his uncle.
