He felt dead inside.

Sure, yeah he tried to save Kacchan from the sludge villain but he had only gotten in the way.

Sure he managed to buy Kacchan a few seconds to breathe but in the grand scheme of things it was insignificant.

He arrived at his apartment building and went to his room. It was Friday. He had Saturday and Sunday off of school.

Fun fact: Japanese children used to go to school from Monday to Saturday every week. Now all Saturdays have been free since April 2002.

He took out his homework to give him something to think about other than what conspired today but he just couldn't concentrate. He sighed and closed the book he'd been staring at for the past hour, not retaining any of the information.

"Izuku!" Called his mother from the kitchen. "Your father's home!"

He felt he blood run cold.

'Had it already been 2 weeks?!'

He sighed and wrapped his arms around himself inorder to give himself a hug.

Something he did when life got tough was imagine that All Might was there cheering him on and encouraging him.

He was about to do so but then he remembered what happened today.

He choked back a sob as it hit him full force after he had forgotten about what happened for a few blissful moments.

Plastering on the brightest and yet the fakest smile he could he walked outside of his room to greet his father.

~~~At the dinner table~~~

"It's nice to be home again!" Exclaimed his father.

"We are happy to have you home! Right Izuku?" Said Inko.

The emerald boy just sat there playing with his chopsticks.

"Izuku?" She touched his shoulder

He jolted. "Sorry! What was that mom?"

"Izuku sweetie are you feeling alright?" She asked, concerned.

"I-I guess? It's just been a long day. In fact, is it ok if I go to bed right now? I'm not feeling the greatest." He pleaded.

"Of course sweetie! Do you want me to get you anything?"

"No, it's ok mom. Thanks. It's nice to see you dad."

"It's nice to see you too. Make sure to get plenty of rest. We're going to spend the day together again tomorrow ok?" Said his father with a smile on his face.

This made him freeze. Just when he thought life couldn't get any worse.

"C-can't wait dad." He forced out through clenched teeth.

He walked over to his room and locked the door.

He fell into his knees gasping for air. He grasped the front of his shirt as if that will help him stop hyperventilating.

It was another panic attack, probably triggered by the fact that he was going to the lab tomorrow.

No matter what he did he couldn't seem to get enough air into his lungs.

Normally he'd imagine that All Might was there again but he couldn't do it. Not when the man had shattered what was left of his already broken soul.

He just sat there frantically typing on his phone. Finally he pulled something up from HeroTube.

He yanked his earbuds out of his pocket, plugged them in and hit play.

It was a video made to help people calm down from a panic attack.

"Hello. I just wanna say its ok now."

He began to stop shaking at the sound of the man's voice.

While yes this man sounded like he hadn't slept in 3 weeks there was something calming about him.

"I'm a pro hero. Its my job to help anyone and everyone in any way that I can and I want to help you. Let's breathe with me ok? Breathe in. Breathe out. Breathe in. Breathe out. Its going to be ok. Keep breathing with me."

"I know it's scary what's happening right now but it's ok. Everyone freaks out. It's natural. Even pro's do it. You're not alone. There's someone else out there who has felt exactly the same as you. I've been in your shoes as well. We can all support each other. It's ok. We have your back."

There was something so... soothing in this man's voice. He sat there for the entire duration of the video, finally able to breathe again.
