Unpredictable

Ch3: Run

Thats till I heard a growl behind me...

I turned around only to be kicked.

"Kitten, kitten, kitten!" Dr. Leonard hissed," look what you did! Making me go find you in the rain, how selfish!"

I got up and ran. I then ran into those greyhounds from yesterday and stopped. I heard dr leonard coming so I ran between their legs and just kept going.

'Run! Run! Run! Run! Run! Run! Run!'

I just panicked, I didn't know what else to do. I got to the street and ran across it. Cars passing by as I dodged and they missed me by a little. I got to the other side and ran through the parting.

I still heard the dogs behind me but no Dr. leonard. I took a left and continued down the alley. I got to another street but smelled bread. I had distance from the dogs so I had time.

I looked around and saw a garbage can with food. I jumped up to it and grabbed a small piece of meat. I jumped down and looked to the alley to see the dogs and Dr. leonard coming.

I ran to the street and just continuously booked it across the street. I didn't stop for anything, no way. I took a right and ran down the side of the street. The barking never stopped.

I was starting to get tired and then slipped cause of the wet ground. I looked around and saw a box with a hole. I quickly ran in and hid there.

The barking ran past me and so did the running of Dr. leonard. I put the piece of meat down and started to eat it as I might have to run again.

Some water leaked in but I was thirsty. I opened my mouth and let it drip into my mouth. My throat dry and my legs tired. My body ached and begged me to just stay put but I knew better than to stay in one hiding spot.

I finished the meat I had till the box shook. I got scared and ran out the hole and down the sidewalk.

"You idiots, tigers have a small difference to their ears! They're a bit more round not pointy like a cat." A male said

I looked behind me and saw the three males from yesterday. I meowed at them and ran to the one who gave me food. I ran to his feet and he smiled at me.

"Awe! It remembers us!" He said

"We're still keeping it wildcat! Tiger or not, its ours!" The other said

They were about to pick me up till a hand wrapped around my neck and choked me. I whined and meowed like crazy and heard Dr. Leonard growl.

"I chased you down two alley ways, why the hell do you keep running from me!" He growled," you belong to me so stop fighting!"

He squeezed me tighter and I couldn't breathe anymore.

"Hey! You're hurting it!" One of them growled

"This doesn't concern you, plus this is my pet so back off!" Dr leonard growled

I tried to stop myself from closing my eyes but it was futile. My eyes unwillingly closed till a loud shot was heard and I was falling. I was caught then there was a lot of shaking or moving.

There was then slamming and an engine revving. There was a strong scent of cologne as I slightly opened my eyes.

'Where am I now?'

"Hey its okay, you're in good hands now! That guy will never hurt you again." The strawberry man said softly

'He won't....hurt me ever...again....'

I felt joy hearing those words and closed my eyes, letting my body relax...

Lui POV

It closed its eyes again and seemed to have rested.
