3rd POV
The tension was building among the males as they all got in different vehicles for their part of the mission. Y/N following vanoss, the two being on their own.
"If you get scared, you can back out and brian can send in a drone." Vanoss told the anxious girl
She took in a deep breath as vanoss got on a motorcycle. She got on behind him and wrapped her arms around his waist.
"I won't be scared." She answered him," I won't ever let myself get scared."
Vanoss rode off through the forest and on the highway. His heart raced, fearing that he's asking too much of her.
Not long later, everyone arrives in their spots around or in the building. Vanoss and Y/N reached their spot to some vents and he opened it up. Y/N was gonna turn to her normal form but vanoss swiftly stopped her.
She looked at him and he hesitated.
"If you know you can't handle things on your own then back out quick! You know where everyone is, so just run if you can't do it." He said worried," its okay to run."
Y/N smiled underneath her mask and hugged him.
"Okay." She told him," I'll run if I can't do it on my own."
That eased the owl a little and he let her go. Now for the magic to unravel...
Y/N POV
I turned to a kitten and we tested the ear piece real quick. It worked so I went in and ran through some vents. I looked through the openings and only saw hallways and security.
"Alright Y/N, we're gonna need you to keep going forward! We'll guide you as best as we can." Marcel said in my ear
I nodded but realized they couldn't see. I just continued going forward and was getting directions left to right. After a bunch of twists an turns they didn't have access to the vents map.
I sniffed around and smelled the scent of rich cologne and a tint of ginger whine.
"I picked up a scent, I got it from here." I said in the ear piece
I followed the scent and ran around for awhile. I looked into each vent opening to see if I was getting closer and then came up to one that was at my feet.
I jumped over it and then looked through it.
"How the hell is this douche bag gonna help us!" Dr. Leonard hissed," he is just conning us!"
"He did say he knew the gang we were looking for." Dr. Leo said
"Yeah but how did he know which gang specifically, theres like hundreds of them!" Dr. Leonard argued
"Just shut up and let Mr-"
"Hey! You two, have you heard anything in the vents?" A security guard asked as he came running to them
"In the vents, no." Dr. Leonard said," why?"
"We're either being intruded or we have a rat problem." They said
"Rats you say?" Dr. Leo asked
I backed away from the vent and my heart was racing at the speed of light.
"Guys they're here." I whispered, panicked
"Who?" Delirious asked
"Dr. Leonard and Dr. leo!" I whispered, still panicked
