The Next Day

"Hey wake up!" Delirious said softly, shaking me a little as well

I groaned a little mixed with a hum. I was still a bit tired but would energize soon, probably.

"We have a mission today and we need you for it!" He said

I sat up and rubbed my eyes. I had no motivation again and ended up flopping back down and getting nice an warm again.

Delirious chuckled and I hummed.

"Mmm! Maybe I'll be here a little longer." I said

"Good decision!" He said," because the others are always late too."

I felt him sit on the bed or something as it shook a little. I closed my eyes for a bit and let myself rest.

"Hey so what happen yesterday with you an tyler?" Delirious asked

"Promise to keep it secret?" I asked

"I promise." He replied

I thought about and knew how to summarize it.

"Wildcat didn't want anyone to see him apologize so we went in the woods. He apologized, sent me on a fake mission saying a weasel stole his game, I found a weasel got a necklace with ef, a black bear came behind me, I backed away from it then dodged it, then stopped it from eating me, um what else?" I asked trying to remember

"What the hell?" He asked

"Theres still more." I replied

"What?!" He asked

I nodded and then turned to him, my eyes still shut and body comfortable.

"Then I heard wildcat yelling telling me he was kidding an lying, I was done being lied to an almost eaten, he tackled me out of the way in time, we climbed a tree, I was mad at him, we looked for the house, climb down ran from the bear, fork in the road, I smelled your hoodie to find the right path home, he was impressed, we started getting along, we took a break from running, we talked, then the bear was in the pathway home, I had a plan, we got around the bear, i shoved tyler away, the bear tackled me, the bear then got away once he saw my blood, went for tyler, my eyes did something and I went and saved him before the bear could eat him, we made up, we came home." I explained in one go this time

"Tyler is so dead for sending you on something that ended up risking your life!" He hissed

"No, it actually helped him see that I'm more than what I show myself to be." I said," lately all I've been is scared and pretty pathetic, but when I'm being the real me I act different.....and well he saw a part of that last night."

I opened my eyes and looked at delirious. He was sitting down and looking at me. I smiled and closed my eyes again.

"But he also showed me that I belonged, and now that I've crumbled its time for me to build myself together again and open up." I said softly

I snuggled more into the pillow i had under my head and felt so much at ease. I then kicked the blanket off as it got hot and let the fresh air touch my legs. I then opened my eyes and was gonna say something.

Well I was....till delirious kissed me. My eyes widened as my cheeks warmed up. He stopped and his mask was lifted to only see his mouth. He had a small smirk as I saw a little bit of his left cheek.

His cheeks were a mix of red and pink. He put his mask back on and he chuckled at me.

"With the look on your face I'm guessing you know what that is." He said," which is good."
