Fated

chapter 1

[Lizzy]

My eyes blink a couple of times making sure what am seeing is real ,once, twice  i blink with my heart rapidly racing a thousand times an hour , a loud grunt leaves my father's mouth sending out a warning tone , he stands just in front of his mate protectively , Alex is right besides me protecting me ,

"Lizzy mommy needs you to run okay" My mother said giving me a small smile, Its clearly visible how much she is faking it , at this moment i feel helpless that am unable to help my family all i could do at this moment was sit there watching helpless. Immediately after my mother said those words she turned facing ahead with no time to strip off her clothes she changes from her human form , in a blink of an eye she stood there not in two but four feet well not feet’s but paws , beautiful in her brown fur , she stood as what human call dogs but to me its an insult, pure insult because werewolves were far better than dogs , my eyes linger to my father before i can utter anything the big grey wolf that is equal to my fathers size jumps ahead aiming for his throat but he is quick to notice his movements because he tackles him on the ground rolling away from others , my mother too attacks the others , Alex stood right besides me protectively , knowing a 13 years old pup cannot yet transform so basically am nothing but a helpless human at this moment , my father locked eyes with Alex for few minutes making sure he keeps notice of the others movements, Alex immediately nods at that ,i knew then they were having a mind link conversation i hated that because i couldn't been included on them since yet again i hadn't shifted nor had my wolf form came forward , Alex turned away from the messy fight.

"Lets go lizzy" he said that with his eyes moving around spotting any danger coming our way but the was non ,a low whine had my head turning back to look at what was happening and only then did i see my mother on the ground bleeding probably from the canines that had bitten her , my father pursuit followed her on the ground unable to stand up , one of the weakness in a male wolf , my father was at weakness at this moment because of his mate , this is one of a wolves weakness, when your mate is feeling pain the other mate felt half the pain, so at this moment i cant imagine how my mother was in pain if half of the pain that dropped my father on the ground was just half of what my mother felt , her eyes looked at me pleadingly ,the big grey wolf took that chance to attack my father.

"Lizzy" Alex rumbled panicky before grabbing me by my arm ,we started running fast as we could ,as far as our feet could take us i couldn't keep up with Alex due to his wolf speed he was faster than a lightning (joking) but yeah he was faster than i was or any human for that matter as i said before i was practically a useless human at this moment, because i couldn't keep up he had to slow down, the loud whines behind us were fading and right then and there i knew i had lost my parents for good  and never will see my mother nor my father , at that moment i questioned the moon Goddess , my sharp eyes sight spotted a few of the wolves catching up behind us, ready to attack us.

My eyes flutter open immediately , panting and sweating i wake up realising the sun was just shining right on my window , realisation i had been having this dream for a week now , let me rephrase it i have been having this flashback for a week now, i had manage to push all the events of that day back in my mind  successfully until recently when the school started buzzing about the arrival of Josh Holloway there, his pack killed both my parents , besides that the arrival of a pack made me uneasy , it always has  and i knew i wasn't the only one uneasy but the many rouges at the school , the school wasn't in any pack's territory hence the were many rouges attending that school.

"Lizzy" a persistent knock on my door had my eyes snap to the clock on the wall , realising if i don't wake up know i will be late.

"Am awake" i shout practically half running to the bathroom for a quick shower, having no time to check how appropriate i was i run to the kitchen a nice aroma had my mouth water immediately i looked at Alex wearing an apron.

"Happiest 18th birthday princess" Alex says i bitten my lower lip as he smiled brightly , i was no longer a pup i knew this ,why he was happy today not only was i turning 18 today , today i would have my first run not as a human but as a wolf ,today was the day of my first shift i wasn't as excited though as him , shifting meant him or other pack members being able to trace me down , being a human i had no scent that wolves had but now , now i would have it, every pack members would be able so smell me from afar that i was a rouge not just pack but every wolves, also i was anxious how my wolve would look like i was dying to meet her but scared too what if i don't shift.

"Thank you big bro" i said taking in my breakfast , Alex had manage to raise me up on his own after the attack of Blackwood , when my stomach complain about that it had enough i pushed the plate before grabbing my bag and half running to the bus stop.
